So, does this mean that David Bowie…, uh, I mean, Davy Jones… is going to be responsible for "fixing" (merging) the universes? Will he, in practical terms, become a "good guy"? Moral ambiguity…

Okay, now I get it. That makes so much more sense. Thanks, @avclub-198dd5fb9c43b2d29a548f8c77e85cf9:disqus.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, that was Violet Sedan Chair to which Walter was listening over his headphones. And yes, I am keenly interested in purchasing your vinyl copy if it's for sale.

Wait a minute… now even the "previously on" clips are changing due to Peter's erasure from the time stream? Whoa.

I know I've bitched previously about obvious product placement on Fringe, but I was actually beginning to worry after not seeing any the past few weeks. If even the sponsors aren't willing to pony up I was concerned the show really might be on its way to the boneyard.

Noted. My point was I don't recall ever seeing any fancy CGI-related effects with the Observers till now. Maybe it was just a budgetary thing.

Hey @avclub-83aa3f196953561a61735e0555f77b7e:disqus , I asked the same question further down. I don't remember seeing Observers doing anything overtly "magical" before. Mirrors/reflections — a hoary trope, but still effective. Didn't make the connection myself, thanks.

Was this the first time we've actually seen an Observer do something overtly paranormal, i.e., stepping backward through the solid plate glass window, then disappearing? That's new, right? Previously they've only shown Observers "disappearing" by using the old "cut to a different camera angle, remove actor, cut back

MotW works @ TSA. LOL.

"Tonight’s Fringe was… directed by Jeannot Szwarc."

The odd glint in Noble's right eye has appeared in many previous episodes. I think he has a cataract or funky pupil (a la David Bowie) or something.

Roger's throne was a recreation of the album cover art from Queen's A Night at the Opera (minus the flaming crab and winged fairies). Which is awesome.

The Matterhorn Bobsleds are already associated with/based on a Disney movie – Third Man on the Mountain (1959). Which is actually better than you'd expect. Bonus: Janet Munro = hot.

Rather disappointed we didn't get a Semhar poetry recitation at the reunion.

Whitney and Keith remind me of SNL's "Two A-Holes" sketch.

I did feel bad for Brandon, but… his entire family not showing up? Didn't it seem kinda calculated? It seems like the Hantzs, especially Russell (maybe under direction from an agent?) have heartily embraced the professional wrestling "heel" role. Maybe they see their future bread and butter tied to perpetuating their

When Brandon said some family members couldn't be there due to "other reasons", was I the only one who thought this was code for "doing jail time"?
