I'm still just wondering what the hell the Leader's been doing in the MCU all these years!

Yeah, well, the man who made 1941, Always, Hook, Lost World, Terminal, BFG , the end of AI, and, oh yeah, Crystal Skull, OBVIOUSLY can't be right ALL the time.

Not sure if this has been pointed out already, but this episode was basically JLU's version of Buffy's "The Zeppo" episode. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Quite the contrary really!

Oh I definitely have it on the new setting. It just marks some reruns as new for some reason. Agents of SHIELD and Simpsons are two particular culprits. But even the new Twin Peaks has done it to me.

Waitaminute. Waitaminute. Encore? ENCORE??? Is THAT why my DVR constantly schedules reruns of the shows I watch, thus causing me to have to go in there at least once a week and pre-delete them? Which is much more annoying when these networks schedule marathons of said shows? Ooo you devious bastards!

Yeah but the sedentary lifestyle, the screen time, and the irregular sleep cycle is exactly what I enjoy! The only thing that keeps me miserable is having to work every day and deal with people. If I can get THAT out of the equation, I would be positively in bliss.

Well either way I think I've found more examples than four or five characters that happen to have some yellow on them. :)

I've got a better question! Scarlett, Teela, Firestar, Starfire, Ariel, April O'Neil, the chick from Galtar, Sheila from Dungeons & Dragons, Kimber, Kim Possible, Red and Redder, Mary Jane, Hawkgirl, Merida, Wilma, Daphne, Jean Grey, Jessica Rabbit, Poison Ivy, Summer Gleason, that Veronica woman from Batman, Demona,

Very true. People telling me about the Matrix DVD and all the cool stuff you could do with it was a major factor in my finally upgrading in '99. ("You can pause it, and it goes behind the scenes and shows you how it was done!") When I bought my 1st DVD player, I bought five movies with it and I made sure that was one

Haven't heard this before but ALL FOR IT.

"We'll always be together, together in Electric Drea-" Oh shit, people beat me to it.

I'm not sure if it's been covered in any of the 600+ comments or not (erm, from a year ago, I guess), but I've got to give a special shout out to Jefferson Airplane's "The House at Pooneil Corners". The fact that it's a sequel to the happier "You and Me and Pooneil", even going so far as to begin the same way and

All I was thinking the first time I watched that back in the day was "Why does that Japanese looking dude sound so much like Leonardo?"

Ok, I came here expecting the usual bitching and moaning about this increasingly crapped upon show, and was planning on giving a little piece of my mind about people nitpicking and wanting to hate it. And while, yeah, there's still plenty OF that, lo and behold, most comments, including the review, were on the

Oh I'm aware. Though as a child from the 80s my primary memory of him is his Superfriends appearances! :)

Honestly, I knew this was gonna be a standout ep when it opened with a great Moody Blues deep cut. I was not proven wrong.

Anybody else get some serious Squire of Gothos vibes from this episode? The god like being, the gun duel, the silly (in a good way) resolution. I realize Mxy was from before Classic Trek, and there's a good chance that those old classic Trek writers were Golden Age Supes fans, but that episode in particular seemed

Also Moore only did 7 Bond films as well. This article is wrong in so many ways. Looks like we'll be accepting our wedgies together…

Let's not forget the "genius" idea of substituting the motherflippin' BEATLES for Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees in the Sgt. Pepper movie. Yeesh. (Also the first jukebox musical, mayhaps? Another strike against it!)

None of these old sitcoms ever had the same impact on me as the Bravestarr episode where the kid died of the drug overdose. I mean, you just didn't SEE that ending in other "special episodes" of the time. That shot of the kid's dead splayed out hand certainly kept ME from wanting to try anything. Well done Filmation!
