Lately, I've become more aware of how strange our culture is about guns. 20 children were murdered last month, but we're already well on our way to not giving a shit and I think we all know that nothing substantial will change. Yet people are always ready to get agitated about the most minor of things in media: this,…

"I hate to see her go, but I love to watch her butt as she leaves"
"Too skinny for me."

Yeah, well I took a picture of my dick and uploaded it to the internet today, but I don't see anyone reviewing that or putting it in a newswire

I'd like to, but unfortunately they're posted at like 4 am my time or something like that.

I disagree.

my drunk tv critic self plainly disagrees

People don't like something popular….hipsters! HIPSTERS I SAY

It makes me think of the itchy and scratchy and poochie episode of the simpsons where all of a sudden the Simpsons have a 20-something living with them and no explanation is given and then he leaves at the end of the show. That was a fun commentary on sitcoms in general.

No one ever wants to make a show about my dark and gritty underbelly!

This is a deep episode about the south, about rural poverty, about the deleterious effect of Christianity on those populations, about men determined to end hunger and ignorance without any real knowledge of how to do so, and, most importantly, about how women ruin everything.

You trying rhyming atlantic with atlantic, see if you can do half as well as Ross!

Personally I don't think they've made anything worth driving since the StuG III

Personally I don't think they've made anything worth driving since the StuG III

"so uh, you hit your girlfriend?" *larry shrug* "is she a big parker, too?"

I just wish haters would make like OJ's wife and drop dead so Chris could get on with his undoubtedly "posi-vibes" album. Love you, Chris!

I was pretty ready to defend that at first, because it sounds a bit like they're going to go on to say that the shooter was deeply troubled and maybe it wasn't merely homophobia that drove him to shoot King. But then they follow it up with this gem:

I've been wondering about that, is it because they're worried people will come and say "HEY SOMETHING THAT ISN'T ITEMIZED? WHAT IS THIS CRITICAL DISCOURSE? NO THANK YOU, MR. ACTUAL CONTENT. "

Just that with current SNL, there's rarely more than a couple of solid skits in the show, so by watching those on youtube you get a "solid SNL episode"

At first that's what I thought, with his trademark frown, but the space bears speech won me over. Paulie really would talk about ewoks like that.

Armisen nailed Paulie, that had me keeling over. Youtube's great because it let's me watch a good episode of SNL in 3 minutes.
