I thought they were going to gated communities.

As recently as four or five years ago, Frontline was one of the few entities really holding the government accountable. It's still worthwhile, but it isn't the same. Hoping for some bounceback in the Prez Chump era.

Glad "Zero Days" got some love. That one got overlooke a little.

There were a lot of good jokes, but "awkward" is right. This felt like weird reboot or something.

Great story.

I doubt that'll be on the headstone.

You are right that many people who didn't care about an addiction epidemic in minority communities now are starting to care about an addiction epidemic that impacts non-minority communities. And it is completely hypocritical. That said, I'll be glad if we ever actually ditch criminalization and treat addiction as a

Best wishes. I sincerely hope you fare well. I know how hard it can be. I'm not sure I would have been able to walk away from that bottle. I think it's a great sign that you could.

Percocet was kind of my kryptonite. I really had to work to stay away from oxycodone. I caught a break when they started making them as those chewy, plasticy time-release pills shortly after I found a reliable source. The new ones didn't do shit for me, and that's the only oxycodone available (at least where I'm

A lot of people don't realize that Prince was a tax accountant in his spare time.

Tramadol is crap.

Yep. Though people buying very much know the difference between norcos and conventional "Vicodin"-types because of the price.

As long as we, as a society, treat addiction primarily as a criminal justice problem instead of a health problem we aren't going to see much improvement. I'm not hopeful.

Dr. House did it.

That's another way I got lucky. In addition to low tolerance for hydrocodone, I could generally afford the low-acetaminophen norcos.

I got lucky that I had low tolerance. I abused off and on for years, but never got above 30 - 35 mgs a day of hydrocodone. Any more just made me feel sick. If I could have handled more, I might have gone down a darker road. Currently completely clean!

The pills aren't called "Watson 853s." They are called "norcos" by most people. Watson is the company. 853s are just standard 10 mg hydrocodone with 325 mgs of acetaminophen. When I was using, those were the most common you'd find around if you were paying for 10/325s.

Chicago! That's within reach. Awesome.

Slavs or slobs? I've heard it both ways.

Of course it is something to hold against her.
