This is a great movie. I was just a kid when I saw it for the first time, and it was the movie that made me realize movies could be great. Saw it recently on cable again, and it really holds up. Probably better than a lot of good movies from the era.

I'm glad to read your comments. I don't know anything about Aguirre-Sacasa or his comics. I do think there is potential for something here in the right hands.
