Don't cross the streams!!!!!

The fishnets!! The knee high boots!! Damn I loved her.

I also saw Souls open for Bush in 1996 (97?).  All I really remember was a long, meandering song called "Fuckmonkey" and that they were very nearly booed off the stage.

When he was arrested, he tried to ditch the evidence by comically throwing it onto the nearest roof.

Of course it was.  She's 60, you weirdo.

Infinite fodder for the next season of Portlandia.

Clicked on this just because i skimmed the page and saw "Girls….happy and..filled."

You're not supposed to know where Carmen Sandiego is.  That's the whole point.

"ass to"?

Their album is appropriately named.  After a toilet.

Jenna's bush?

It's clearly about his epic journey to Los Angeles in search of his asshole brother.

They were the first band to ever name-drop former NFL wide receiver TJ Houshmanzadeh.

"Swallowed….sorrowed…I weighed everyone in Vietnam"

Oh man…Strange Currencies.  I loved that song.  I have to go dig that album out now.

I seem to remember attending a show from the supporting tour.  I also seem to remember Bush being uninspiring if inoffensive.

DGC rarities was great.  Good stuff from Sleater-Kinney and Teenage Fanclub too IIRC.

Seconded (thirded, fourthed?) on Of Monsters and Men.  Six Weeks is a personal favorite and I'm quite pleased it's gotten zero airplay yet.

Always loved "Positive Bleeding".

Shit, that was on Guitar Hero/Rock Band?  That song is what the stupid little whammy bar on that stupid little guitar was MADE for.
