I agree with both points. The Crimson King was cartoonish, at best, which was a damned shame considering how much build-up there had been. I like King's minor villains so much better. Gasher, for instance. I'm secretly hoping that this role is reserved for Clint Howard. And maybe even throw Ted Raimi into Lud, as well.

True enough. Taken was good. It had a coupla "that guys," as well. But then there are things like Wyvern, and I fear for the worst …

From what little I know, Stephen Chow was supposed to be Kato and direct. Then, he was simply going to be Kato, then dropped out altogether. One of his initial ideas was to have Kato controlling Rogen's character via some sort of implant, and I think the people involved didn't like the direction he had in mind.

"If all goes as planned, Howard will direct the first film and then the first season of a tie-in television series, both of which Goldsman will write. Two more films would follow. " - LA Times, 12/17/10

Two movies, one miniseries?
I thought they'd discussed making three movies and two miniseries to bridge the gaps, which made sense to me … GUNSLINGER movie … DRAWING ms … WASTELANDS movie … WIZARD ms … DARK TOWER movie.

I don't think JGL is too young for Eddie. I'm not sure how you remember the book, but Eddie is 21-years-old when Roland enters his head on the plane.

Damon Lindelhof (sp?) said he couldn't handle trying to condense it to film … seriously.

Thought the ending for the series was perfect ('cept for that tacked on additional ending for those who felt like they'd been robbed). He should have never given people a choice in the matter. Despite not being very good books, I believe that the last two will make fine movies. Lots of action set-pieces. Lots of good

Hocking Stuff
The set-pieces in this video are hilarious, especially the AVC beer glass that's filled with water. Next time, put a flower in it to make it less conspicuous, or you can go in the opposite direction and wear stickers all over your bodies.

You mean people actually care if someone is sitting in TRON while wearing a light-up suit? Damn it all to Hell. I thought that if any movie had a chance of becoming this decade's ROCKY HORROR, it was TRON 2.0.

Well, Carnahan still wants to make it, so Liotta's got a way in. I don't see someone funding a movie based on Liotta as the star, unfortunately.

Isn't this what 4chan is for?

Way to slip that in there under the cover of darkness, O'Neal! Now, who's the sorcerer?

Sean O'Neal's malfeasance toward's my client …
You somehow forgot to namedrop Ray Liotta, which either puts him lower on the scale than Burt Reynolds (ouch), or you're protecting him from being associated with Uwe Boll.

Good!
It's not a great show, but it's far from terrible, and the fact that the masses are flocking to a show about a Zombie Apocalypse is wonderful. I mean, Jesus, all the naysayers on here could exert more productive energy trying to get "Two and Half Men" shitcanned instead of this.

My bad … Itaewon was the first place I went. Incheon is the Airport.

When I stepped off of the airplane in Itaewon, I saw this commercial. Everything that happens in it also happens in real life in Korea. It's amazing.

Whoa! You've been here?

Korea
I've been here for seven months now; I feel like Park Chan Wook's Korea is a complete dream, albeit an interesting and usually symbolic one. Bong Joon Ho's Korea, however, is pretty accurate … even down to the man-eating fish.

I don't get the chance to watch a lot of TV (no cable, on the move, work), and for that reason, I'll sometimes read recaps.
