That's what I want to hit this guy in the face with. Seems like a nice enough guy, but that picture just makes me want to see something terrible happen…

Ha ha larious.
Josh Hartnett - "those hooded eyes …."

"Black Snake Moan" was fucking awesome.

YEAH!
Fuck that guy! EWWWWWWWWWWWW! Man, that fucking douchebag, wanting to be left alone after he left some sort of place where his wife looked none too pleased! That's bullshit. He should have jacked the reporter off, because he's nice. And … he's a FATHER, so that means something, something …

Can't wait to see it. I hope it's as good as the preview makes it look, and kudos to those fuckers for throwing Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt" in.

Definitely deserves a listen …
Hell, I used to think that the White Stripes were "noisy," so maybe after listening to all of this fuzz for a coupla go-'rounds, the distortion will disappear and reveal something awesome to me.

That last sentence made no sense. Ahh … what I meant to say was that critics keep mentioning "Fargo" and "No Country" in the same sentence, but I think that "The Man Who Wasn't There" was just as much a meditation on faith, violence and hope.

Yeah, I was talking about "Man Who Wasn't There." It blows me away. I think it's beautiful, and I think people that have been talking about the Coens should be praised for it just as much as "No Country" and "Fargo."

Hudsucker Proxy, I loved. And I haven't watched it in a while, but The Man Who Wasn't There seems like a throwback to another era, perhaps not the 40s. But that's still in my top 20 of all time.

By the way, I had no idea Star Trek fans still existed …

One day I hope that I find the person who coined "meh," so I can punch them in the scrotum. After that … a swift vengeance scored against the person who started LOLCatz. Proceed.

I second that. When does ZODIAC MOTHERFUCKER get his own column on the AVC. Something has to take the stuffiness out of the room.

I'm pretty certain all of my top 5 films are mock-worthy! In fact, they probably pride themselves on being so.

Oh shit. I shouldn't even be popping up in this thread, but I can't help myself. I attempted to watch "Brick" all the way through five times, and I couldn't stay awake. Maybe if I'd been in the theater, it would have been a different story. I own it now, because after all of the rave reviews, I went and bought it the

Awww shit! You did diss "Back to School." And here I was developing a crush on your movie tastes!

Definitely could take a while for it to be fast, but think about it this way. Say it managed to cost roughly the same price - you could set it up to download two movies before going off to work or while you're sleeping.

They released that on VHS or did you specifically make a copy with one of those new-fangled DVD to VHS transmogrifiers?

Just like Lisa Schwarzbaum did with her online rating of the first Pirates of the Carribbean. I will never let go of this grudge, you crazy bitch!

You crotchity old grandpa, you. Hey, I like hard copies too, but this looks like an interesting solution to a couple of problems the current model for Netflix has … see above long post.

Hah. You're hilarious, Mr. Goodballoon.
