And a kickass performance, too. There's so much physicality to what Zach Grenier does; just watch him in the scene outside the courtroom with Noth and Margulies, how he moves to insert himself, ingratiate himself. (the impressive staging of the scene facilitates this as well; passers-by swarming the hallway clogged by

I don't see it as outside the realm of probability that Kalinda has developed something of a blind spot for the one person on the show she considers a friend. The plots are getting to be sufficiently byzantine (not a bad thing, mind) that I'm having a hard time bringing to mind any specific reasons why it would be

I think the Chris Evans impression is the most impressive one; I've never thought of him as having a particularly distinctive voice before, but Hiddleston nails him in that clip. Hmm… Hiddleston nailing Evans.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply; I'll try to top it!

Seeing as I'm Norwegian, and as such share the national pathology of being super interested in what people from other countries think of us and various aspects of our "culture", obviously I would very much like you to list these better Norwegian bands you speak of.
Not that I'd call Ylvis a band, anymore than I'd use

I stopped watching 3/4 of the way through the second season, but Dana Brody was in two of my absolute favourite scenes (the scene with the padlock fence, and burying the Quran in the back yard) of the show up to that point, so you're definitely not alone.

I know, right? To be fair, I'd starting noticing myself it during that episode, and nearly gave myself whiplash nodding vigorously to the animation talk in that review.

I heard it as "why don't you get a real dog", and was a bit heartbroken when I read the comments on Guendelsberger's review and people were saying that it was "real job", since "real dog" made me laugh so hard I had to pause the show to collect myself. Although I refuse to go back and check and risk breaking my

I have fond memories watching that first season on some dodgy streaming site, before I even got into torrenting.  I remember it (the show, not the dodgy streaming site) being a lot scarier than it had any right to be. Even if the scariness has diminished in later years, I've always thought the ability to tap into

It's probably a bit late now that you're a ways into AFFC, but you might want to take a look at Sean T. Collins' combined reading order (with A Dance With Dragons). Apparently, he's had a lot of positive feedback on it, both from new and second-time readers of the books. The one I linked to is the spoiler-free version.

Yeah, they need to bring that back. The actress might not be up to having the spotlight for an entire storyline, but I would love to see a Luke and Lily B- or C-story one day (not that MF's story structure is all that tiered, but you know what I mean).

I love Evil Lily so much. And I'm going to take that joke about her pretending to fall asleep as an indication that the writers are going to keep milking this most glorious of heel turns for what it's worth.

Are you on some kind of anti-TCGS sabotage mission here or something?

@avclub-b313d7a1aaec35c82dd05d8d78bcfb48:disqus It appears I am the one who is wrong on the internet! The irony. Ta for the clarification, ma'am or sir.

All of those shows were on cable and satellite in Norway, and I grew up with neither, so I know all those toy franchises from the comics instead of the cartoons, which has skewed my perceptions of the franchises I followed. The GI Joe and Transformers cartoons in particular were pretty insipid and badly animated

I'm inclined to be charitable to Miley for being slightly flat (barely noticeable for me though, except a couple of spots) because a) given the number of otherwise perfectly competent singers being flat on SNL indicates to me that their monitoring sucks ass and b) it can't have been easy singing over that guitar

@avclub-eaf7e6d54e569c2f804fb8abe3c575ad:disqus As long as you're waiting to use that word, maybe just go ahead and not use it at all? Just a thought.

I apologise for my clumsy phrasing; I meant that the sound this week was great, and the sound for last week's Arcade Fire performance was pretty weak in comparison, as is SNL's wont for rock acts. I listen through some pretty decent headphones.
