Because I do believe the Beatles have more good albums, which is why I think many people rank them above the Beach Boys, even though the best Beach Boys songs are better than the best Beatles songs, which I value more.

Glaz, I was saying that I prefer the Beach Boys to the Beatles because the best Beach Boys songs are better than the best Beatles songs.  I was using your metric, but then explained that The Beatles may have more great albums.

Who Louie was probably friends with, seeing as how they both came up in the late-80's / early-90's Boston comedy scene, and then likely the New York scene.  It's weird when you realize that Louie and Sarah Silverman used to dick around together in Manhattan.

You think The Beach Boys had more good albums than The Beatles?  That's just… Factually inaccurate.

Dennis Wilson has the best unaffiliated solo album (in that Brian Wilson's Smile is the best, but a recording over the never finished Beach Boys album), but Brian wrote all the classic Beach Boys songs.

Can we agree that it's a kind of a dumb argument, but it's not that the Beach Boys recorded more good music than The Beatles, but that their highs are much higher?  (Or, The Beatles are more consistent than The Beach Boys, but the best Beach Boys songs are better than anything The Beatles ever recorded).

By the way, you should all get ready for my upcoming Introduction to The Beach Boys, which will claim more than once that they are better than The Beatles.  I expect debates.
