I like that NBC is so mismanaged we can ask "Wait, are they typically reairing repeats of a not-very-popular show after their biggest hit?" and it's a fair question.

Aguirre, the Wrath of God is so surreal. I couldn't find the English version, so I was watching an English film, dubbed in German, with English subtitles. Usually this would bug me, but it felt very fitting given the rest of the movie.

At this point I wouldn't be shocked to see the headline "Roger Ebert secretly saved world, all while telling jokes to indie directors who he introduced to the smart, lonely, and confused youth of America."
Yeah. It's not that I think as many people loved him, or maybe even as much (though I certainly don't mean to say people hated Roger Ebert or anything), but as we learn more about him in tributes and that letter, we keep hearing the same things; hilarious, talkative, thoughtful, and always willing to help people…
Tearing up, even harder than before. I can only think of one man who received nearly as much love upon passing both for his work and the way he behaved in life, and that's Mr. Rogers. I promise this is a compliment to both men.

Wait, this is both funny and just comes off as a true loving obituary. Goddamn Onion.
He put Tree of Life in his Sight & Sound top 10 of all time list, so a good pick.
