No love for the soothing tones of Damo Suzuki?

I'd put them under the larger tree of Krautrock, if not directly under.  They're at least very related to Krautrock.

It is, but that's the point.  A lot of Contra is based around the theme of white privilege, and how while they know they have it, they can't unhave it, so why should they be made to feel guilty for crimes they didn't commit?

But I enjoy watching the movie without other people, or mocking it out loud.  I'm still making fun of the movie, I guess, by laughing, but I am getting enjoyment simply from watching it.

Regarding The Room.  I think the reason I don't feel guilty about enjoying The Room is that yes, I am enjoying to place scorn on it, but the creator feels worthy of that scorn.  Tommy Wiseau isn't a good person, he's a bad person, who made a bad movie about how women are evil, with money he likely earned illegally.

See, I do like some things because of their "badness" (mostly The Room), but there are also things that many would consider "guilty pleasures" that I like 100% sincerely (I don't know how to play "Since U Been Gone" on guitar because I like that shit ironically).  I think it's possible to like things ironically for

Also, props for differentiating being "guilty" as in "I shouldn't still like All American Rejects" (more what you're discussing) and "I shouldn't listen to Taylor Swift because by promoting her music I'm promoting a message of values I heavily disagree with."  Damn Stephen, you killin' the game. Oh, also, you

Wait, actually, this would make more sense if those people were having sex with the cars.  I don't want my girl set on fire.

I am very conflicted. On one hand, this has been a great season of New Girl (or was, unless it totally fell off after the short break, I haven't caught up yet). On the other, Taylor Swift. Not Taylor Swift's music, that I can stand and even enjoy in some cases. But her as a person, not so much, to the point I've

See, the only thing is, Life Aquatic.  I need to watch it again, but it didn't feel like minor Anderson.  Or, it might be a slightly lesser Anderson movie, but it's clearly not minor the Anderson himself.  He poured his soul into that thing.

This is an amazing story.

Vallejo!

Yay!  Watching Rear Window then!  #HitchcockWeek #EatItWillSmith
