I'm surprised at the lack of remarking on what I consider his best two albums, which for me would be Either/Or and X/O. Alameda, Say Yes, Independence Day, title track of X/O… really, every song on both albums holds up, whereas sometimes I find other Elliott albums need a little edit here and there…
That's what I was thinking. If you refer to "those seemingly sweet peanuts (sic) faces" then it makes me think you never read much Peanuts.
