Getting an e-reader saved my marriage. I finally downsized all the public domain books and downloaded them from Project Gutenberg. It pared my book collection way down and made the last few moves way easier.

Also, where's Henry Fonda when you need him?

We'll just have to solve this the good old fashioned way. By which I mean arm wrestling.

Come on now, let's be classy. The Beetles, please.

I just feel like there are no actual hard facts in the case. I don't know that he did do it, but I don't know that he didn't. I guess I am one of those who thinks I wouldn't have convicted him if I was on the jury. I would feel more certain if there was anything that was a hard fact to seize on, but there just isn't.

But we don't know the time of death. We know she missed picking up her cousin, but that's it, until they found her body. There is no way they can conclusively know exactly when she died, which to me creates a lot of reasonable doubt for everyone involved in the case.

No mention of the soundtrack?!? FOR SHAME, AVCLUB. Songs by America? Mia Farrow attempting to sing? These are the things that will always stay with me.

Just catching up, so late to comment, but yeah, my money's on Baxter having a baby she had to give to someone else to raise and she needed the money to give them, because THEMATIC UNITY with Edith's story.

We've all learned so much from the Bling Ring.

It's a joke about how they decided to time-jump this new season to 2017, so that Amy Poehler didn't have to work with babies.

I think it was probably more the wind. That sign is way high up.

I keep meaning to try a McHamlet, but the time is never quite right.

Somewhat related: the other day the big sign on the Wendy's by my work was inviting me to try their new Iago chicken sandwich.

"Do you find something comical about my appearance when I am driving my automobile?"

The Aztecs - How the First Doctor Got His Groove Back.

On a 4th Doctor note, I just realized that I never saw the last serial from the Key to Time season. Checked and it's on Amazon Prime. So, well, there's that, at least. Also, I know what my evening looks like now.

I've been going back and watching the First Doctor's serials, after jumping around Doctors due to Netflix's spotty availability. And Hulu Plus has got pretty excellent coverage of those early episodes (that are actually in existence, that is), so they had fooled me into thinking they had way more than they actually

I stand corrected. They have 413 episodes streaming. According to Wikipedia, there were 813 in all, with 97 episodes still missing. So the real fraction is 413/716. I assume that some of the ones not on streaming are from incomplete series, too.

Not unless you convince them that you're not in North America. Which is doable, but not necessary now that PBS is showing The Great British Bake-Off (or Baking Show, if you're an American)

I'm sorry, I subscribe to Plus. It never occurred to me that all the Doctor Who was a Hulu Plus exclusive.
