(Cool story) The first time I saw The Avengers it was three in the morning. I couldn't sleep, was flicking through channels when I came across this obvious villain explaining how he could make people disappear by sending them back in time, which I though was awesome, but what got me hooked was a couple of minutes

Just pretend it's because you remember it from when the AV Club covered the Wizards finale.

BIG RED NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

There was an episode of The Nanny where's she's watching a Gilligan's Island marathon and when asked why she says she wants to see where it changes from from "and the rest" to "the Professor and Mary Ann". It's the one thing I think of what Gilligan's Island or The Nanny is mentioned.

Isn't there a way they could both suffer?

You've forgotten Fringe.

You've forgotten Fringe.

You've forgotten Fringe.

Jen: I've got Aunt Irma visiting.
Moss: Oh, do you not like Aunt Irma? I've got an aunt like that.
Jen: It's my term for my time of the month.
Roy: Oh.
Moss: What time of the month? The weekend?
Jen: No.
Moss: Does Aunt Irma visit on the weekend?
Roy: Moss!
Jen: You know, it's "high tide".
Moss: But we're not on the coast.
Roy:

(Cool Story, alert)

My little sister had a Sesame Street CD that we listened to so many times that I still sing Material Girl as Cereal Girl.

Their lyrics can be too cliche and sappy (especially on A Little Bit of Everything), but it's generally solid, better if you're in the mood. Time Spent in Los Angeles is my favourite.

I thought, for some reason that seems really, really, stupid now, that it was slang for extreme.

Will only ship to the 48 Continental United States. Sorry Hawaiian, Alaskan and international racists…

I think (and I understand why others would see it differently) that she wasn't regretting liberating them, more she was regretting how much she liberated them. They went from doing everything for their boyfriends to not even showing up at their pep rally (and actual game?). The moral being… it's good to be your own

I'm from Adelaide and for a couple of years there the big thing for bogans and arseholes to do was to drive up to there and buy novelty t-shirts. "I survived Snowtown" "I visited Snowtown and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" and my favourite; "I went to Snowtown and all I got with this blood-soaked barrel".

I'm going to assume you're including Adelaide in the "bumfuck hick town"s.

Seeing Cloverfield at the cinema gave me such a bad migraine the only reason I got out of bed for the next two days was to throw up.

Weirdly, Go On's episode also had a "two people getting a divorce using the same lawyer" storyline.
