Just came in to say: the work Khandi Alexander is doing on this show is just awe-inspiring. Every moment she was on the screen this week was gut-wrenching, with virtually no dialogue.
Mid 60's Quintet
Nice job here, but I think the output of the "second quintet" was given a little bit of short shrift here. ESP, Sorcerer, Nefertiti are all excellent records, and the Live at the Plugged Nickel set is astonishing. Maybe not as influential today as his 70's output, but as revolutionary in its own…

Chris Bell was on the first record and co-wrote some of the songs on Radio City. That's surely part of what separates them from Third/Sister Lovers.
