All right, Pacific Rim it is! And it's playing in IMAX 3D not far from the office. Thanks, errybody!
Two of my best friends have swimming pools, and biweekly barbecues every summer. I'm always the one dude in a 2XL (now XL, woo!) T-shirt over at the table going "No, I'm good, I forgot my suit. Just like every other time."
In the middle of Shrek 2, when he turns into a human, one of my best friends (a woman) turns to me in the theater and says, not quietly, "Holy shit, human Shrek looks just like you."
Does that make Bill Gates a cute Nick Kroll?
For the record, Ellie, I swear I was legitimately confused and not trying to set up a bunch of jokes.
In fairness to her, she does look REALLY hot in the picture, but COME ON, lady. Crop that shit! It's 2013!
Oh! And! Second thing! This morning I was perusing someone's profile, and it did not seem like a good match, but I was looking at her photos, and one of them was of her and her ex-husband on their wedding day.
What thing we do whenever we s….
Good for you! Keep it up!
And yeah, vanity's a big part of it too. Nothing wrong with that. One of my goals is to be comfortable removing my shirt in public by next summer. (This would be the first time in literally like 15 years I would feel okay doing that.)
Why are you cringing? Anne Hathaway is lovely.
It's worth checking out. The movie itself is not really "for girls." The books kind of are, but not the movie.
It's the first one I read, and my favorite book ever. I actually didn't know it was a sequel until like five years after I read it (when I was 14), and didn't read the first one until well after college.
I got a message from a woman I'm not interested in and seem totally incompatible with. I can't decide if it's more rude to ignore it, or to reply to it and tell her I'm not interested. Little help?
I actually haven't ruled that out. If I could find a theater where both are playing that would be terrific.
Co-sign. I am a grown-ass man and I really enjoyed The Hunger Games, both the book and the movie.
OOF! That is rough. My condolences.
I Get Out Of Work Early On Friday; Should I Go See Pacific Rim or Blue Jasmine? Thread
I am reasonably certain I've never even heard it.
