they're doing Aurora's hair differently, maybe her makeup too.

I really like Margaret too and she was particularly well used here. The writers have stumbled when writing her but she had some great moments. The episode where she visited her brother is one of the show's best. I hope this isn't the last we see of her and her "superpower".

rewatch the scene between Mulan and Aurora. Look at the way she beamed at seeing Aurora happy to see her! Mulan was going to confess to loving Aurora.

I think it is the latter, because this "normal guy trying to help" popping up like some fairy godmother makes no sense. he can't be doing it just out of the goodness of his heart. he may not be trying to recruit her for a foreign government but I think she is completely right to be skeptical.

I think Fitz is the worst. He can't even be honest about his behaviour like Cyrus and Mellie. He still thinks he is motivated by love with Olivia but what he does is not love. You don't get a friend to spy on an ex out of love.

I'm with you. Yes Fitz-Olivia have great chemistry, but their relationship at this point is so messed up. It has become this dark twisted idea of "love" and it just makes me uncomfortable to watch (to the show's credit I think that is intended). I am so glad Jake is back to give Olivia a relatively healthy romantic

I agree regarding the special effects, but I completely disagree about Alice. Alice was superb in both character and performance. Sophie Lowe's Alice is the best thing about the pilot. I already care about her and find her far more appealing than I ever found any of the heroes on OUAT.

@number9cloud:disqus it depends on the state. I have a friend who was committed against his will for two weeks just for discussing suicide. He had no plan or expression of intent. No prior hospitalizations. No violent episodes. Never self-harmed. Never expressed any thoughts about hurting another person. He was

I'd go with "Mare" but I have trouble imagining Emma using any kind of nickname for someone.

I completely agree about Boardwalk Empire. It is a show that I would recommend people check out, because there are some brilliant performances (when will Stephen Graham get the Emmy nomination he deserves?), truly memorable scenes, and Richard Harrow is one of my all-time favourite characters, but there are times when

I'd love some comedy recommendations if you have them. I tend to watch drama and "genre" shows so I sometimes miss the good comedies. I considered putting Parks & Rec on my list but I feel there was a noticeable decline in quality this year. Community *was* my favourite comedy but it had an off-year. And I had to

1. Breaking Bad
2. Game of Thrones
3. Orphan Black
4. Orange is the New Black
5. Bunheads
HM: Young Justice, Gravity Falls, Mad Men, Vikings, Veep, Scandal

Being committed like that is my greatest fear. I desperately wanted to help Carrie because God what a dehumanizing experience. She shouldn't have gone to the press and she should probably be on some sort of medication (there are other kinds for bipolar that might not have made her feel clouded) BUT she definitely

That ending was devastating.

I'm guessing the show is using Elijah's staking to get Rebekah to New Orleans. She'll show up when she doesn't hear from him and have him unstaked by episode three, if not sooner.

For now my love of Rebekah and Elijah are strong enough to get me to tune in, but in general I share your sentiments. However I may wind up fast-forwarding through all non-Rebekah and Elijah scenes.

mine is the fictional movie theatre at Dupont Circle.

I hope so. I took a course on Ulysses and loved it (we also read Portrait of an Artist and some short stories, but it was mostly Ulysses). I also took a course that *included* Gravity's Rainbow, but we covered the novel in two weeks. In addition, we were split up into groups and each group had to present and lead

While I agree that a cliche dramatic device is being employed here, I do think there is a reasonable explanation for the change. Richard has returned home, to the place where he was someone else, and the dog in particular is connected with that past self. He doesn't want to sully that part of his life with the

she's tall yes, but beefy?! There are all-star women that probably weigh more (they certainly aren't Amy-small) and it hasn't been a problem.
