I think the advantage of that edit goes to the show. Whether true or not, the show believes that narratives make it more appealing. Amy & Fik-shun as the adorable power couple is a narrative they've been working all season and this just wrapped it up in a bow. If such narratives keep the show from getting canceled,

I agree on the first 4 suggestions, I have reservations about the last two.

Comanche is my favourite not-Ramalama group routine. :D

Starting with season 2 (featuring Travis and Allison).

Great selections! God that Argentine Tango was sexy.

Good selection with that top 8 routine. I was startled by Tucker's excellent performance in that routine. Before, he had barely been on my radar, but during that Mia Michaels number I couldn't take my eyes off him!

While I don't doubt that they really enjoy dancing together, I think that Fik-shun would have selected his dance with Twitch and Amy would have selected her dance with Travis if those routines weren't being selected by other people (*how convenient* my cynical side says), so I'm not going to read much into the fact

I would watch the hell out of this.

Agreed,  @avclub-f3575385ad1fab85b8a6d60f1486d529:disqus .

I agree with everything you said! The Jasmine/Comfort number was my favourite of the night. The Amy/Robert routine was beautifully done, but not only did I feel like I'd seen it several times before, I felt like I'd seen that performance from *Amy* several times before. Jasmine challenged herself, and killed it!

I agree with you re: tap. I was surprised by how much I liked the tap routine since I hadn't liked Melinda. It was subtle, but interesting and difficult. Paula justified her presence by pointing out Aaron's ability as a storyteller. Their tapping told me a story.

that vest was distracting me the entire routine. it looked awful and, like you said, obscured his lines.

Can't think of any good *pope* films, but there's one about Archbishop Óscar Romero that is pretty good: Romero.

I spent the entire time I was watching this wishing I was watching the show instead - specifically the first couple of seasons, when Lauren Faust was still involved. The pony/human hybrid thing was indeed WEIRD and the entire story was trite. Worst of all, I felt the characters basically became the stereotypes that

I honestly want to know so I can get one. I share Marie's love for all things purple.

I like this idea, with @Adelaidey:disqus 's suggestion of a guide. I think a sort of mentorship would be great to watch.

I'm really upset that I don't have a television and so I can't watch it live and contribute to viewer numbers. I'm hoping that having the app and "syncing" helps somehow. This is the *only* reality show of any kind that I still watch because of the artistry and high level of competiton.

I love your rant and add my own. I am SICK of them using the "untrained" hip hop dancer narrative being used even when it is inaccurate. LESS trained ≠ UNtrained.

THANK YOU. I thought I was alone in not being upset about this. In speculative discussions about this casting, I've heard far more preposterous names being floated and only a couple of good ones, so right now my relief and disappointment are balancing out to a *shrug* of a reaction. He's not my choice, but I don't see
