Thank you. I have basically been reading all  the comments to see if anyone would bring up Puella Magi Madoka Magica. That one was actually marketed as a typical magical girl series and oooooh boy was it not. It's my pick for favourite bait-and-switch.

so true @avclub-95b622c18e98531c84d5fc6f543ec1d7:disqus , so true.

oh god I thought of Groo too.

YES. I don't care how much training Elena has had, she should not be able to take Katherine (as Damon stated). She would need to have help or there would need to be extenuating circumstances that weakened Katherine. Stefan being able to kill Kol shoudn't happen either, unless maybe those coming back from the dead

Alaric's appearance earned at least half a letter grade. When he brought up what Damon said at his grave I started to get teary-eyed again!

@avclub-5fdffef6b19aea41a1411580d7de4422:disqus is right. actually it is not only unheard of, in Westerosi culture harming a guest is TABOO - one of the greatest taboos, if not THE greatest. Robb breaking his promise to Walder Frey could have warranted some sort of reprisal, but it is nowhere near a great enough

0h God I forgot about that one.

I was cool with the 1st mystical pregnancy on Angel - mostly because pregnant Darla was awesome. It was the connor/cordelia one that was just…no. (though ultimately Jasmine was an interesting antagonist).

Real Housewives of Westeros

Thank you for linking that scene from Justice League Unlimited. Priceless.

Yeah I was iffy about her before this episode, but I quite liked her this time. And it didn't really feel "flirty" to me. More clever, and a touch combative. I read no romantic or sexual interest from this Clara, which was a nice change.

I'm with Mr. Greene.

I want to like this about 100 times.

I am glad M'Gann finally ended it with La'gann. That relationship was never healthy. She wanted someone who wouldn't challenge her, who wouldn't even honestly see her. There was nothing real or mature about their relationship.

Showtime Synergy!

my brain has basically been going "LINCOLN LEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" since I saw the preview. I've missed him so.

I don't think the doctor was being corny. I thought he was being smart. When he agreed to go on the show I think it was because he saw that the problem wasn't going to go away by avoiding or ignoring it. I don't think he would have done so unless he had some idea of how to win over the audience - many of whom had

why can't I seem to quit this show?
