I sure hope there's a reference to Clayfighter…

My guess is that Lumen takes the fall and winds up in jail. Then she can be a recurring guest on the show. That or the other blonde takes the fall as being the 13th barrel girl.

That was the point of the scene. It was a mildly comedic interlude that also builds the sexual tension and sets things up for the end of the episode.

Is Jordan Really the Final Boss? What about Lumen?
Maybe it's just me but this seems rather early in the season to be setting up Dexter for a battle of wits with Evil Tony Robbins.

Can we get a talk about Rubicon?
I think conspiracy theory discussion is great for radio (or podcast as the case may be).

I guess there's that girl who's caught up in the cult although at this point given that Zoe's body was destroyed I'm not really clear why she's still involved with them.

Tired and uninteresting characters
Am I the only one who finds this show unbearably boring? Normally I'm up for anything sci-fi but it seems like the show isn't interested in sci at all. What could be a really interesting show about the nature of consciousness, the human soul and life after death is trivialized with

going into work the next day
So Truxton has this heart to heart with Will before the hit and now the previews suggest Will is going to show up at API like nothing weird happened.

I agree with No Cease Fires. He comes across like an asshole because he's distracted. He's trying to work out a conspiracy that killed his best friend/boss and he doesn't want anyone else drawn in on a bunch of cryptic clues.

Yeah Will had to be overly cold to her because there was a good chance their conversation was being overheard. Whether the break-up was real or just for the listeners is an open question. My guess is that a future crisis will lead Will back into her arms or perhaps Maggie's (this show is begging to set up multiple

I think the blood on the wall was also supposed to indicate that even K.I. is not a perfect operative. It was a bit heavy handed with the literal blood on his hands part but somewhat necessary in keeping the show somewhat close to its' tone of realism.

My take on that final scene was twofold. 1. Will now feels some guilt for having blood on his hands and 2. It takes the piss out of Kale's badassness and all the 'pros'.

Running the show into the ground
How is the Quinn on Dexter's ass plotline not just a rehash of Doakes with less swearing? For a show so focused on plot the suspicious coworker is hardly interesting.

With the line "I wasn't always this way." It's clear that Will's realized he's changed and that he doesn't seem exactly happy about it.

Yeah that's right. She had some documents that she gave to Clark after Reeve's died in real life IIRC.

I think they already had Margot Kidder on the show playing an anonymous Lexcorp flunky back in season 5 or something.

I loved this episode
Maybe it's just because I watched Three Days of the Condor after last week's episode but I really dug all the nods this show seems to be making to stock scenes in any mystery story.
