John Cusack has been insufferable since he stopped playing teenagers.  I was watching Hot Tub Time Machine recently and it struck me that he was the only member of the cast who was completely useless.  He didn't seem to know he was in a comedy and just walked around with that wan, hangdog expression for 90 minutes.

Also, short people got no reason to live.  And don't get me started on those polacks.

I dunno, I guess I'm a third kind.  I think what he did is awful and unforgiveable, but I basically never think about it when I watch Chinatown.  In the same way, Kevin Smith seems like a really likeable fellow, but that won't change my mind about that Jay and Silent Bob being terrible.

On the one hand, Woody is a creep.  On the other hand, comparing him to Ariel Castro is disingenuous and disgusting.

Semisonic?  They had music other than that terrible "Closing Time" song?

Very common in 90s sitcoms.  Friends is the same way imo.  I think it was an attempt to soften the tone of Seinfeld but I think it backfires.  Seinfeld was always aware that its characters were awful people, and the characters knew that too.  The people on Friends just seem like a bunch of sociopaths lying to each

It was dumb then and it's dumb now.

Yeah my little bro was all about concerted efforts.  He could drink a case in a night easily.  Not a pleasant drunk, either.

Or a woman who makes dubstep and her dubstep father, who is from the old school of dubstep

Kurtwood Smith was the saving grace of that show.  The only character that I didn't want to punch.

That's been my tack for the last 10 years or so:  stay away from liquor, stick to beer and wine.  It's not 100% (my little brother is in recovery and all he ever really drank was beer) but it's a decent compromise.  Also, it helps to avoid light beer or piss weak lager in general.  If you drink the good stuff it

Yeah it happens.  alcohol withdrawal can easily be fatal.  It killed Townes Van Zandt.

It's not a legit question.  It's a rhetorical question that says "this can't be any good because I haven't heard of it."

Or you could just continue not getting laid.

I always get Rachel Getting Married, which I haven't seen, confused with Margot at the Wedding, which was turrible.

Danny Masterson is the other guy. He has some sitcom on TBS I think, so that's…not nothing.  I literally can't think of anything else that Wilmer Valderrama was in, other than a very brief cameo as himself in The Sopranos.

ahem….

ME NEITHER!! WHY ARE WE SHOUTING!!!

She was Zack Morris's second most attractive love interest.
