They could've saved the amount of money lost because of the screener theft by reducing DiCaprio's salary. Not like grunting and creeping on snow for three hours is much of anything really…

It's hard to imagine worse casting than Miley Cyrus for anything. i guess.
Heck, not sure she could even star in a Miley Cyrus biopic !

They should've called the show "I'm a kid-touching-then-marrying old self-centered self-obsessed self-loving useless old hack and I'm in my own useless hack of a TV show."
Unless it's a plea for legalizing euthanasia for too old actors/directors ?

Stop it with the live-action adaptations already ! ><

Still can't believe thay gave an oscar to that. ><"

Indeed, but as I understood it, Mann's version of the story had way more to do with the previous film than with the source material.

Everytime I watch it, I can't believe how awesomely executed (and edited !) the promontory pursuit at the end is. If anything, Mann knows where to put his camera.
Now I need to watch it AND "The Duellist" back to back…! ^^

That's actually an accurate description.

"Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba"….no ? Isn't is isiZulu ?

I enjoyed Jackson's "King Kong" (Serkis is always doing great in a motion capture suit, the performances were nice - not counting Jack Black's, maybe - and the music spot on)…..but I don't know, there seems to be an odd "charming" quality to the 1933 one that Jackson could not reproduce. Just a personal opinion, mind

Wasn't Mann's "Last of the Mohicans" a remake too ? I love that movie.

"Infernal Affairs" felt to me like a well paced, tense, competent cop movie. "The Departed" felt like a useless show off.

Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Good. Send him here, he'll never bother anyone again. Might even found some natives willing to eat him or chop him up for some blood magic ritual or something. ^^

This is depressing for me, for two reasons.
First, working in science and education, I know that scientists (well, some, granted) don't like being in the spotlight because a celebrity is putting his/her nose in their work.
Second, it'd be nice to have alarming documentaries about concerning scientific topics wihtout

Well, if the movies to be watched there are of the same breed as a live-action Lion King movie, I don't really mind ! xD

Given the fact that I live in a town without any cinema (the nearest one is like….500 miles away), I highly doubt it…! Ôo

Aaaaaaaaaaand another movie nobody needs or really wants. ><"

This is what happens when Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder do not roam and police Kentucky backroads anymore…! ><

Having read N°1 and 10, I do wonder at the credibility of the people working on this website. ><"
