Hey, I'm a pretty lousy president.

Sam B had made a joke about the President's clothes earlier, which was more about how women always get stuck with dumbass comments about their appearance, but damn those are elegant duds Mr President.

In reply to your edit: It wasn't a secret the DNC machine was behind the chosen one. I am one of the Bernheads and have moved on, grudgingly. I'm choosing incompetent and shady over biblical plague.

We shall commence drinking tonight and not stop until November 8.

What exactly are they risking by being pro-Cheeto in Asshole, TX?

My home state FTW.

Fair enough. We wouldn't be horror fans if we weren't bitterly divided over a well-received movie. Its good parts (that worked for me) made the bad parts and the overall movie a bigger letdown.

So lower stakes and against the dumbest candidate in the history. Makes her look twice as worse.

Since we have made an innocuous newswire a place to air our political views :: clears throat ::
Hell is getting hotter. Donna Brazille resigned from CNN for leaking debate qs to HC. Can't get mad at the right for blowing this up despite knowing they have done much worse. Fuck.

Misleading headline. This says nothing about Megyn Kelly.

Good to know, was going to watch it tonight based on its good rep in these parts. I still might.

I saw only the original, Let the Right One In, but put the wrong name because I'm a fool.

You should look up Jack Ketchum. Nasty is the word. Considering you are a horror nerd, this probably isn't a new one for you though.
ETA: Your mom sounds like an awesome lady.

I'd like to second my love for Housebound.

Laura Palmer's bloody smile/shriek

You didn't ask me, but since I share his disdain for the first and the last movie in OP's list, here goes, in no particular order:
- Let Me In
- The Woman
- Kill List
- I Saw The Devil
- Insidious (impressive for a PG movie)

Babadook and It Follows each have about 30-odd minutes of good movie in them. The middle and final part of It Follows are so lame, they make Babdook look like a masterpiece.

I liked this approach actually. The filmmakers and their picks are pretty solid this year. I don't agree with all of them, but who does? I like the diversity of this list and how it works as a reminder to see some of the interviewees' own works.

You may have to start with ones that are not obnoxiously hoppy. Lagunitas is a good entry point. New Belgium's White IPA and Ranger are good too.
My favorite IPAs are from:
Karbach: All variations are good. The clown one you should avoid though. It's double IPA.
Stone: They're obnoxious as fuck so stick to basic ones.…
