yay! Finally someone else who hasn't seen Star Wars. I've started all of the movies, but have never made it through them. Not because I'm not entertained, but for some reason, "Do you want to watch Star Wars" is synonymous with "Do you want to watch 30 minutes of Star Wars and then make out?" for me.

I discovered The IT Crowd right before Sandy, and I re-watched the Gay! The Musical episode with the "I'm disabled" about six times and just kept finding it funnier and funnier.

I am glad that I wasn't the only one that found that line of questioning odd. Something along the lines of "umm, why are you asking me all these questions" seemed necessary and it's silly that after having met her 2 times, she wouldn't question Adalind at all.

I ask guys out for a re-date, but apparently the type of boys I date find that forwardness "terrifying."

Warren Oates, sorry I don't know how to link to your name. If you're looking for Russian Lit and (per your profile) you enjoy more of the prose style, it may be worth to try Eugene Onegin by Pushkin. He writes in a more poetic form and may be slightly easier to swallow. Ivan Turgenev is potentially my favorite…

I think I've read all of the Great Russian Novels at this point and Brothers is one of the hardest to get through. I found it rewarding, but I will be curious to your thoughts when you're done. I have a huge list of books to recommend to people based on their feelings about Dostoyevsky because I am a huge jerk who…

Like apparently a lot of other people here, I too am reading Murakami. Sputnik Sweetheart was…not great, but I loved the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.
I am re-reading Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said for the third time. I love this book.
