This, exactly. There were so many sloppy mistakes all over that kitchen. Josh cooking that pork loin, especially. He's from Oklahoma?? And he doesn't know how to cook a pig?? I'm focusing on that the most because there was the most footage of his horrible cooking technique. Yes, his initial instinct to cook the loin

Yeah, exactly. My best friend staged for one of the best restaurants in Boston/Cambridge and she had no culinary school training or anything. She got the job because she went in to give them her resume in person and was persistent about following up about the opportunity. That he staged at Noma less a measure of his

Also, I don't know what Rob Lowe's been up to, but he looked reallllllly good last night. Maybe being cheerful just agrees with him/Chris.

Almost as good as calc-you-later. Allllmost. The Adam Scott factor was the tie break.

Me too. I loved loved loved the engagement episode of course, but this is the best of the season for so many reasons, and one of the best of the series.

This might not be a popular thing to say, but when you're talking Modern Family vs. The Middle, my life has always been a lot closer to the Dunphys' than the Hecks', but I love The Middle dearly and mostly tolerate/occasionally snicker at Modern Family. The Middle has such a genuine core that I don't feel with Modern

Happy Feet is awesome. Just so everyone's clear on that.

I have a TiVo and no cable - it works with the HD antenna beautifully. Yes there's a monthly fee but I still feel as though I've taken a stand against Comcast (after years of like $200/month cable fees).

I said it above, but I got REALLY mad at Rev. Tim Tom for burdening Sue with that responsibility without asking her parents' permission first. I mean I hate most of what that guy stands for anyway, but that crossed the line. Wasn't he supposed to ride on to another town or something?

I'm going to take this opportunity to share my very "The Middle" dislike for commercial cereals. They're SO EXPENSIVE, like seriously $5 for one box of any of those mentioned. That's the one holdover from days as a poor college kid/my first year out of school that I absolutely refuse to spend money on. And we weren't
