Ahhh, thanks for that explanation. But if we can hand crank to start the starter motor on a diesel car, why can't we hand crank to run a radio or a flashlight or something? And if we can hand crank, why can't we hook up a turbine to a team of ox or some criminals/prisoners or something to create more power, etc.?
