Yay! The first mention of Analrapist, which will soon lead to one of my all-time favorite Tobias lines! Which is saying something, because the line occurs in an episode where he dubs himself a 'discipline daddy'.

That Chanel commercial (casual Brad in front of neutral backdrop) came on after I'd muted the TV and as my girlfriend walked through the room she glanced at it and asked if he was trying to raise money for Amnesty International again.

The 'leather pony' is one of the best examples of Tobias' voice suddenly getting high when he tries to lie to cover a gay interest of his.

So, what, they got Jennifer Tilly in for three lines but couldn't be bothered to give Brad Dourif a call for Chucky's one line? What a bunch of S.O.B.s

I'm enjoying Ray Stevenson so much that I'd like to see him take a powder towards the end of the season and then come back next year to kill Dexter in the last episode. How can you not want that guy to win? He just wants it more than Dex does.

Has no one yet mentioned the similarity of plot elements in Stone Cold? The villain whose 'master plan' consists of walking into the middle of a government hearing, shooting a public official, and then getting gunned down? The film that tries to play the hero as victorious when every part of the villain's plan was a…

I agree with the way the scene was played, but it's possible that the writers are referencing a purported rule in the Russian mob that top-tier guys can't have sons, since they can never be allowed to split their loyalties. If that's the case, he would have to keep it a complete secret that the dead guy was his son.

I was confused by that part of the review as well - Gillian makes it clear that she never wants to hear Angela mentioned again, so Richard went out to avenge her before she was completely forgotten. That's how I read the scene, anyways.

The first time I really noticed Kirkman's truly lazy writing was when Rick is shocked to find Lori and Carl at the campsite. I read that and thought 'Wait - they walked for a couple of hours cross-country without Rick ever mentioning his name, or why he's there?' In the show they're pretty stressed in the store, and…
