I've almost stopped watching The Mindy Project on Hulu because every time I do, the episode ends and goes into a Dads episode, and at times I'm in the other room, powerless to stop it.

That's not necessarily an age thing, though. I doubt there are kids going around citing their Twitter handles .. I think it's always going to sound inherently silly in a non-internet context.

The premise of players reminds me vaguely of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, the Shane Black movie.

It's cheaper at the beginning but not if you're one of those people who wants to rewatch their favourite shows once or twice a year, or show it to a friend, or watch all of it with a friend. Of course, with a Netflix subscription, you're getting a lot more than just Arrested Development, but if you just want Arrested

Amore is amazing on the mic - I think they expected people to dislike him because he's just this Jersey douchebag but he's also just goddamn likable and charismatic. I think he's one of the more random recruits with very little wrestling background, so I'm okay with him staying in NXT a while to develop his in-ring

I can't even imagine how weird it must be for those people who have done podcasts for years to meet fans who know so much about them and they themselves know nothing about the fans (typically).

I finally watched the latest Fast & Furious film and was delighted I could finally listen to the HDTGM episode on it. It was just a pure appreciation podcast for that movie, and I loved that. June channeled my every feeling regarding that movie, it was kind of odd.

One concept for a movie recommendation website or podcast I've been thinking might be worthwhile would be to get somebody who knows a lot about a certain type of film (a sub-genre, a certain type of film, or a certain country's cinema) as a guest and then have them talk about their interest in that sub-genre or type

Sami Zayn (El Generico in the indies) is amazing. Some of the best matches all year against Antonio Cesaro (check out the NXT episode from 21st of August this year for their absolutely epic match). Leo Kruger and Xavier Woods are two others I really like, but really most of the roster is pretty good. They do some

I don't think you need to think of wrestling as fighting to like Daniel Bryan. I enjoy his matches because he's just a good wrestler - great sense of in-ring psychology and athletic style. His promos against Cena were just what I love about wrestling - taking something reality-based and flipping it into an angle. I

I think it would depend on what was going on in terms of the storylines. Raw was solid goodness throughout most of the summer leading up to Summerslam. I understand WWE has had some goddamn awful days in the past few years but I really dig the new talent they're introducing, and some of the angles and pushes have been

I wached a fair bit of stuff, but right now my most prominent memory is watching Fast & Furious 6, texting my friend "I think this is the best movie I've seen all year" and her not texting back, "Are you drunk or high?" because she knows how I roll.

Smackdown tends to be quality, while Raw can drag as it's so bloody long. Glad you had fun. Daniel Bryan is, at this point, the textbook definition of over, and he's so good, so it's very enjoyable to watch.

I agree this show is great in huge doses. A lot of my friends thought it was boring and never watched beyond halfway of S1, whereas I marathoned the first season cosily and have been hooked ever since. I rewatched most of S4 recently, and its ending crescendo is so good when you watch it all together.

I thought it was tedious in the end of last season (I wanted Alicia to make up her goddamn mind already) but then in one flirty scene I was back on board with it again. Just before it all goes down the drain, so it does maximum damage on my heart. I don't mind though.

In all likelihood the writers wrote it as a curve ball to the audience, without thinking too deeply about the logic of it. I suppose stranger things have happened, and one possible explanation could be that he's got other friends but his only pals in town are his students at this moment. Kind of like how many of my

I don't think Diane is walking away from the judgeship. Telling Will about Alicia's plan doesn't really change anything in terms of that, I don't think?

Possibly? There are multiple ways to read it, I think. The most generous progressive read is that as he's a Palin fan and marrying Diane, he likes opinionated women, period, and perhaps even prefers their company to that of other men. The other possible reading is that he's a man who likes eye candy that agree with

Yeah.. Speaking as a 20-something (cute-at-best) female I don't have any significantly older male friends. My oldest male friend is in his thirties, and we're only friends through a mutual female friend in her thirties. Maybe their shared politics and profession over-rides the unusualness of the friendship? I've

Did they ever say his character's name? One gripe I have is that these 4th years are coming and going and seemingly appearing from thin air. All for more people of color on the show, though.
