That's a great episode, though, enjoy it!

What I've gleamed out of every single bit of Blur news from the past two years is that the members love hanging out together and telling each other, "We should make music again, that was fun!" and reminiscing over a pint of beer, but then they never actually do anything significant towards that.

Of course, I should've proof-read that comment, should've put parentheses around the word "silent". Their comedy is very much not silent.

How is knowing some of the biggest silent comedy classics (Chaplin, Keaton, Lloyd and Marx brothers are not obscure names) hipster knowledge? It's very Film History 101 if anything, though these are all great movies and ones I'd easily recommend myself (this article reminded me that I need to buy Duck Soup on DVD).

Love this guy, and The Heat is my most awaited summer movie. It's a shame that my corner of Earth only gets it in late August.

Am I the only weirdo here who listens to certain podcasts during certain chores/tasks/activities?

Wait, do they write their own fanfiction or just read out loud other people's?

Shit just got real….ly legal?

HBO's OZ tried to warn us about the prison population crisis over ten years ago. Did we listen?

Elvis might have done more, but Marilyn Monroe holds her own as an icon. People pour their own interpretations and meanings into her story - that's why it's been told and re-told to death. People collect memorabilia to do with her career as much as people collect Elvis memorabilia.

I have no time for ridiculous hyperbole mixed with incredibly unfunny rape jokes. Look, Community S2 was a great TV season but that doesn't mean this guy shits gold.

He just graduated from Occasional Dickwad to Douchebag Extraordinaire in my personal ranking of assholes on this planet Earth. Congrats, dude, have fun alienating more fans.

Randall Park in everything is fantastic. The Food is the most fucked up, funny web series ever.

I'm glad he had a re-think.

Does anybody else here listen to Throwing Shade? Erin & Bryan both work at FunnyOrDie, and have an umatched comedic rapport with one another while discussing the latest in feminist/LGBT news. You might know them from the long-dead InfoMania show on Current TV, but this podcast is really them at their funniest.

June's theories and love for some strange films are really what make the podcast for me. I want a whole podcast of her just talking about Jack & Jill.

This show just makes me so happy. Every now and then my mind wonders back to a joke in it, and I just spontaneously burst out laughing.

The report was by an Aussie friend who got dragged into a concert by a 20-something Hanson fan friend of hers. Apparently her friend still let out a scream. This was about 4 years ago, though. Good to know not all Hanson fans are like that, sorry for the generalization!

@avclub-130f14e3e5c0263f013b56d8c212f26a:disqus - Now that you brought it up, I realized I watched The Green Hornet on a 8 hour long flight and with lowered expectations. I'm pretty forgiving to a film's flaws when I'm up in the air, I remember once getting emotionally invested in a Kate Hudson romcom when watching it

Power through, maybe like 3-4 episodes in a day. It becomes less a chore when you piece things together better, and the best episodes are in the second half of the season.
