"We’re only two episodes in and I already feel like I’ve seen the plane crash scene 100 times."
I honestly thought, several times, "I've seen this plane crash more times than I've seen Thomas and Martha Wayne being shot" during the episode. And I'm a comic book geek, so I've seen/read Many Batman stories!

"He notably eats his breakfast like he doesn’t know when he’s getting his
next meal, though it’s easy to mistake that for eating like a teenage
boy"
I think you mean he's finally eating like Jughead.

Preacher isn't a superhero show. Nor is it a superhero comic. At all.
It features supernatural elements, but that's it. And that is hardly the (only) defining feature of superheroes.

'Cam’s shade is pretty great: “I see your in pig delivery now.”'

Okay, seriously, AVClub… This didn't happen:

There's a mistake in the comic poll. It says under biggest disappointing that Captain America brainwashed Steve Rogers to be a Hydra sleeper agent. This is not true. It was the Red Skull who brainwashed Steve Rogers.

Three things:
1. Great review as always.
2. It's Delos, with a single L.
3. It's Sidse Babett Knudsen, not Sidse Babett Knudsen Wood.

Negan threw the axe on the roof of the camper. You can tell by the bend of his arm and the sound effect of the axe thumping on top of the camper.
