The Bolin voiceover surprised me before I thought, "of course he would write his letters so eloquently." The reveal that it was only poorly drawn pictures interpreted in that language had me falling out of my chair. Perfect.

I'm pretty sure the crash was an actual accident. They made a point earlier in the episode to say Conrad wasn't allowed to drive anymore because of his illness. So once more Emily was somewhat responsible for a death and a less simple path to revenge.
