I loved the TV show callbacks in TIH (Ferigno the security guard, the opening sequence) and Norton was pretty good, but Ruffallo in Avengers was awesome.

"Women and Children First" and "Fair Warning" would like to have a word with you.

How did you take the little round room and flatten it to be your new back wall?

I remember looking through the "Album Cover Album" book and the designs I like the best that weren't Roger Dean or Ohio Players covers were Hipgnosis

It's not the album I've been in love with the longest, but it's the truest and deepest love ..
"Workbook" by Bob Mould.

I called the hidden track on Green "Stay Up Late", but that's probably too conventional for an REM song

"Clark Gable" is my favorite "Give Up" track. we all have a vision of romance/love looks like.

My step mom has been slowly declining from MS for the 30 years I've known her.

My 10 year old son is still into dinosaurs and even though we've seen the DVD copy many times, It'll be great to see it on the big screen with him.

Waits isn't overtly Christian, but since he started working with/married Kathleen Brennan there's usually  a song or two on each album that is "spiritual". The best example would be "Come on up to the House", which is just loaded with Christian imagery but the words God and Jesus don't appear in it.

@avclub-3da678392d5ac1ff456fe6e06354fdef:disqus Have you tried "King's X"? Metal with Beatle-esque harmonies, you can take their stuff as Christian or not depending on your P.O.V.

My wife prefers the contemporary service at our Lutheran church and the CCM they play there  bores me to tears, except for about every 3-4 months they change it up. A few springs ago, we did a Dixieland style service and that was great (some of the musicians are music faculty at the University)!

When I saw Metallica at the Monsters of Rock tour (Right before ..And Justice for All came out) I wasn't that familiar with them.  Leper Messiah was more like Nurenburg that a revival.

It was totally worth the weird ticket policy, late start, etc.

Serena Altschul is still out there reporting and lookin' fine!

I have fond memories of Julie in dancing class and they played "Jiggle it, just a little bit" or whatever that song was called. Good times

No, this is the way "Finally" was meant to watched

Gymnast = 2, Macy = 3

I recently bought "Led Zeppellin III" and "In through the out door" on iTunes, which I have only had on vinyl before.  When listening to certain tracks, in my mind I see that  tricolor Atlantic label or the Swan Song Icarus label spinning at 33 1/3

New art exhibit idea-
Show "Triumph of the Will" with all the speeches ran through a filter to make them sound like they're on helium. Re-record it in English and have have Himmler cracking up in the background
