@avclub-9f3362679d786df531bab7953d7ab610:disqus I think it was the US not wanting to sell He to the Nazis because they'd use it for non-peacefull purposes.

The local low power college station played 3-4 songs from Torches (Helena, Houdini and Pumped Up Kicks) about 2-3 months before Pumped Up Kicks took off. I was surprised they were all from the same band.

Yeah, my wife was orphaned when she was 3 when a drunk driver plowed into a group of motorcyclists (her parents and one other) on a Labor Day weekend.

For NARG - Perhaps a compromise:  for my wife's engagement ring we used her deceased mom's gem in a new setting.

re: S.O.B. One late night talk show host (Carson?) proclaimed "The hills ARE alive"

There's keyboard part on "Big Bottom"

My now wife-then lady friend laughed so hard she fell off the couch and kept laughing.
She really pisses me off sometimes and can be a real bear but while watching "Stop Making Sense" she said "I think this is my favorite sone, ever" during "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)"

@avclub-a7894649f023b61a850c178d9870aee1:disqus The mouthed "We love You" during the kaliedoscope part always cracks me up
