Well, I suppose that's true, though I can't imagine getting too excited about hearing the same old song (or seeing the same old rerun) on a broadcast medium, even if someone else is experiencing it as the same time as me.

I just thought that for someone who was so invested in the grammys, the 'what the fuck/look them up' moment might have come earlier, when he read through the nominees. But I've never liveblogged anything, so what do I know?

I always laugh when I hear people calling in for requests on my local top 40 radio. This is an age when you can hear virtually any song you want at any given time, and there's still people calling in to  FM stations asking them to play 'Tom Sawyer'?!!!
