"Meet Me Half Way" by Kenny Loggins starts playing…

Is this what it's come to?  Beer puns?

Would that be his twin brother that recently converted to Judaism?

You're right.  Starting with season 3, Buscemi directed one episode per season.

He's dyslexic.

Get a mop.

I worked in a pizza place for a few months years ago, and I cannot tell you how many people asked for "pasta faggy oh lee".

How could it be okay if it's askew?

I don't think it was so much Tony being an idiot as refusing to see the truth.  Sort of a subconscious mental block.  According to him, his father was infallible, so it's as if his mind prevented him from actually thinking about the whole "Tippy went to live in a farm" story.  Especially with how he feels about

He's a goddamn hot house flower, that's his problem.

I've seen the show, that's why I said "I never quite understood why the Emmys started throwing statues at Spader and Shatner…"

James Spader instead of Gandolfini and Alison Janney instead of Falco for season 5

"Plus, that was Johnny's gal"

It does come up.  Johnny Sack gives Tony a bunch of shit about it in the very next episode.  Tony, as a Boss, had a legitimate beef because he was owed money and Phil was obviously ducking him.  But at the same time, Johnny demands that Tony make it right by paying for the car and apologizing.
