Yeah, to say nothing of the radio chart success of Kiss Them For Me and Face To Face means people have no idea where Siouxsie and the Banshees fall in terms of actually popularity and success.

Wait, do this many people really not appreciate how great X4 was? Our first taste of a very nicely more anime version of the characters, and the most incredible sprite work and animation in the series up until that time.

Technically, the Whole Bloody Affair version does exist, and has been shown a few times theatrically. But no, no released out of theaters version.

And here I thought everybody knew what I was talking about. It's this wonderful 211 track collection of additional music, takes, extended version, etc from the series and movie. In total, it's almost 10 hours of music. The tracks were slowly offered on davidlynch.com over the course of a year.

Without question, the extended version of the Pink Room has gotten the most plays out of the full archive release. That and "Trail Mix."

oh hey, i know somebody in this movie!

Considering how vast the Twin Peaks Archive release was, I'm surprised that they're releasing this without any bonus content. Unless, they're saving that for the digital release perhaps?

Maybe they handled this on a show by show basis, but I never saw an original that was available without a subscription either.

She really really was. Single-handedly the most awkward component of the series.

The restoration of this is beautiful. My only quibble is that the entire church scene (which is long) has some incredibly difficult to hear audio. I know there's only so much that can be done during a restoration, but this portion of the audio easily could have seen some more radical processing to clean it up.

EVERYBODY cried during that lipsync. Welcome to good company.

That's one area I was left desiring a cutaway or scene of it healing, repairing, etc. Just something to understand that stakes.

The series kept drawing a line that the bad guys would kill, and the good guys help their friends. Having El kill, even to help her friends, results in some messy character development all around (especially when the kids cheer it on afterward).

The characters don't all have to do the sensible thing. I'm not asking for that.

The monster trap is actually a big plot hole in terms of timing. Yes, it acts as an unintentional distraction, but the monster returns to the upside down and is there for a good long while while Hopper and Joyce are still looking for Will. The amount of time between the team Nancy attack and it attacking in the school

The only thing that is obvious about it is how it's a tease for a future storyline. It can be read as him honoring her/hoping she's alive in the spirit of his daughter Sara. Or it could be tied to his new G-man status, and possibly he knows she's back or still around.

Considering that they already have the Kids interface, I can fully see it going down that path soon. It makes more sense than just lumping it all together.

Sense8 is far from perfect, but goddamn is it not a wildly ambitious program with a lot to enjoy. I'd rather Netflix be able to fund experiments like this than stick to surefire crowd pleasers like Fuller House.

The finale had a lot of weird moments. I'd love anyone else's take here:

Hey, I think we all need to get comfortable that Netflix is not exclusively a niche programming operation. They do not expect their users to watch ALL of their original programming.
