You are correct, it's very hard to disassociate something like this. And what I wrote above only amplifies my already present lack of enjoyment for AC/DC, the fans are not the root cause.

Mulder is in one of the photos, but just the back of his head. It's clearly in the same room that we seem him confronting CSM.

Sparks is what I want from rock bands, and I'm sure they gave me powdered wigs at some point.

It's not that the audience is annoying and therefor AC/DC is terrible, rather the band is itself one in the same with this audience. At least that's the case for me with this particular band. This just isn't music made for me.

"Dad Rock" isn't necessarily a dismissive term though. The others without a doubt are.

Don't get about the lady-bros either. This isn't gender specific.

Yeah, I think Angus Young comes off as a manchild on stage or when he performs, and I mostly attribute it to his wardrobe.

The art show and this album are completely tied together. I saw the show here in LA last year and he performed some songs there during the closing party too.

Hairdresser Blues is fantastic. I love all three of those albums before this. The Seth Bogart Show is not quite the direction I was hoping to see him progress toward, but I'll give it more listens to see how it grows on me.

The only places I would ever encounter AC/DC would be by accident in a car commercial, or in a bar that has one of those devil internet jukeboxes.

Oh no no no. These two songs compel people to do two things I can't stand while in public: sing along but only to the chorus, and handclapping/foot stopping/air guitaring to a beat/riff.

Hat tip to you, good sir or madam.

AC/DC is the fucking worst. I cannot even explain the visceral reaction I get when I hear a song of theirs. It's the musical equivalent of dude bro bravado barely held together as entertainment. It's the Entourage of classic rock bands. And it has a goddamn man child in shorts bouncing around on stage.

His redemption in the pop music sphere was shockingly quick and successful. I totally forgot about the neck tattoo situation. He got that around the time of his public shaming and getting back with Rihanna. I mean, it's a beat up or decomposing woman's face. Which he got after beating up a woman's faceā€¦

Too Young To Be In Love is my favorite of his three albums. That felt like the most honed in terms of song craft.

Agreed. That tour was so so so much fun.

Normally I don't care, but considering how short this season is and the content of specific episodes, I feel like the order does have an impact on the viewing experience. It may not be dramatic enough for people to give a damn about, but I'm interested in how it plays with the weight of some plot points.

Also, Melissa's wig for this sketch is on point.

This was a lot better than most of the live sketches. All I can imagine is that putting this in the rotation would have made for 3 taped sketches for the episode, which starts to question the LIVE part of this show's name.

PLEASE can we have a dedicated space for Full Frontal. I know news shows are difficult territory for reviews, but even just two episodes in Samantha Bee is proving that we should all be having more dialogue.
