That was Boo.

WAY self-indulgent final 20 minutes.

I was into this episode and the ending, but the entire scene at the lake lasted waaaaaaaaay too long. It was over indulgent. The amount of story threads that converged there dragged out the experience AND had the negative effect of minimizing their impact (oh really, 5+ characters are going to have their epiphanies at

The issues with TWD are centered on the writing and direction, not acting. Season 5 had many episodes that finally, finally had the proper mix.

I'm going to guess that the girl he shacked up with that night/place he crashed at after drug score turns, and he hastily dresses before booking it.

Cautiously optimistic here. TWD has steadily found a better footing, but still doesn't know how to deal with it's effects shots without crossing over to gore/torture porn instead of actually carrying a sense of dread and horror.

That promo alone had a character visibly and more believable scared for his life, and acting rationally to save it, than all previous seasons of the walking dead.

I'm not saying they don't exist or that they're not great. Just that the average man interested in on-demand would likely go the cable + dvr route, and not figure out DVR + OVA.

You don't have cable, but you do have a DVR for OTA broadcasts? That's definitely a minority situation as many many people (incorrectly) see DVR as something that would only be part of a cable box.

Don't underestimate the draw of being able to get the shows on those networks on demand. And how doing that even on their websites can usually require cable authentication.

I think, technically, Vogue is the undisputed best soundtracks only song she has done. There are a lot of caveats there, but Vogue is only on the Dick Tracy soundtrack.

There were definitely a few bad scenes with the morphing. This plays into my general confusion with this show not playing to the strengths of CGI (use it inconspicuously), and demanding something that exceeds the technical skill or budget available to them. This was best showcased in the Mereen coliseum/Neverending

This is show Sansa we're talking about. Show Sansa got raped. Winds of Winter Sansa is not what's on screen, and not what we're all talking about here. If you're blending the two, I think you're going to be in disagreement with everybody.

Oh, we can disagree. That's fine.

Don't worry. When season 6 opens with them landing in a giant hay stack we'll all be laughing at this.

Just google "sansa rape scene" and read one of the many interviews with the actors and show writers talking about it. It's a rape scene. They call it a rape scene. They talk about how the rape informs Sansa's character development. It's rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape. Rape.

Agreed. The scene is setup with Sansa basically ready to commit suicide by arrow instead of anymore Ramsey time. That hail mary jump can easily be read as a suicide jump away from any more Ramsey fun.

That WAS A RAPE SCENE. There's no ambiguity about it. There's no assumption. It is 100% a rape scene.

Maybe his scales are sharp? Shoulda put a saddle on that them there Drogon. Never bareback a dragon.

The show sets up Margaery as someone that she would likely hate prophecy or not. This is not a point in the flashback's favor.
