Hmm… I'm a few episodes behind, but now curious to catch up and see who it is.

Mad Men will be the other exception, I assume. But yeah, those will be the only shows in the top 14 past their second season.

I think you have 10/10 correct.

I thought In the Woods was easily one of the ten best television episodes of the entire year (maybe even top five), and almost none of the rest of the season was especially memorable, interesting or noteworthy to me at all. Not sure where this means I rank the show overall this year.

Doesn't sound like you missed anything to me: It was a Coen brothers cover band, one that got 90% of the surface level stuff right but somewhat less of the under-the-surface stuff. In fact, I'd personally argue close to none (which isn't to say it wasn't still an entertaining week-to-week watch).

I thought the series finale was just ok but a lot of the seven episodes leading up to it were great. Overall, I rank the seasons 2, 3, 5, 1, 4.

How good Cosmos was in general feels under-discussed on the internet to me. Like, the pilot was well-reviewed, but then it aired the rest of its run pretty quietly and all conversation about it then seemed to cease almost immediately.

I think Outlander's best episodes are its last two or three, so you are in for good times!

I'm assuming that a few good shows not up there will obviously be in the next list (Hannibal, True Detective, etc.), so allow to me to name some stuff I found great that I assume will not be in this year's top 35:

I'm not really a huge anime guy, but I did watch Madoka Magica on Netflix instant this year on a friend's very enthusiastic recommendation, and really liked it.

I watched every aired episode of over 50 shows this year. In all fairness, I do really, really need to go outside.

Bay and Daphne murdered Angelo Jr. via timeline elimination. They're gonna need some serious therapy when that sinks in.

If this was just a list of the year's best TV pilots, I could make peace with How to Get Away With Murder being on it. But, having seen all the episodes so far, no, no, no!

As imaginary arbiter of network renewal/cancellation, I'll allow it.

You can be confident I'm not, because if I was Fox would currently be airing Enlisted season 2 instead of Mulaney, Almost Human season 2 instead of Red Band Society, and NBC would be airing Community season 6 instead of Bad Judge!

I like to think it was more a deal with Mulaney.

Yep, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Winnie the Pooh 2011 are both on the docket (and I've seen neither), as is every movie on this list except for the five-movie short film collection stretch between Saludos Amigos and Melody Time: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…

Have you lost mind?! Grab hold of your cock, and regain sense.

The Gamecube remake also changes the red blood in a scene near the end of the game to green bile instead. I guess to keep the E rating. Boo! Gimme my bloody Zelda!
