I love that relatively accurately-sized dorm room. Such a rarity on TV.

After renewing Dollhouse and Touch for second seasons and Fringe for five seasons, I don't have that much trouble imagining Fox renewing Almost Human. They'll probably stick it on Fridays and it'll probably be the last season, but it's not impossible.
I'll take it just a little farther than that and say 6 seasons - with the flashbacks meeting the pilot at the end of season 5 and the final season running all in real time.
Watching him in Supernatural and Justified literally back-to-back, let me just offer kind of a wow at AJ Buckley's acting range. Ed the Ghostfacer and Danny Crowe - despite both being played by the same pretty distinctive-looking bearded ginger - do not look alike, do not sound alike in the accent or pitch or tone or…
I'm a big fan of women whose breasts I've seen. Yet I hate Entourage. So this is a glass-half-full situation at best.
I doubt anyone is going to come to their senses, as Trophy Wife will not be on the air long enough for sense-coming-to to be necessary.
I really wanted the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme to play when it panned over to Lexi at the table right after Jesus dumped her via email.
I will in no way defend Dawson's Creek as some kind of great show - in fact, for stretches, it was pretty terrible - but Dawson's Creek is, in EVERY way, for its ENTIRE run, better than Californication. (I hate Californication.)
While I would never want to live in a world without Friday Night Lights S3-5, I'd be interested to take a quick peek into an alternate universe where it got canceled after S1 and see how it's regarded - would it now be considered a must-watch one-season classic ala Freaks and Geeks and Firefly? Interesting to think…
The Secret Life of the American Teenager is easily in contention as the worst scripted TV show of all time to run over 100 episodes.
You're right. JVDB explodes off the screen in that movie. He's an interesting case of an actor whose onscreen presence is directly proportional to how (intentionally) dark and twisted the character he's playing is.
Fun fact: A crapload of future show creators wrote for Dawson's Creek. Greg Betlanti (Everwood/Arrow), Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars), Mike White (Enlightened), Alex Gansa (Homeland), Tom Kapinos (Californication), and Liz Tigelaar (Life Unexpected) among them. I'm sure there are shows whose writers rooms yielded more…
Everwood was a sometimes shaky but overall way above average teen drama. I've really been wanting them to put it on Netflix instant so I can watch it again. (Also, I'm pretty sure there's at least 10 or so S3 and S4 episodes I missed.) I mean, c'mon, Netflix has Dawson's Creek and 90210 and Gossip Girl, why not…
Also on tonight: Banshee, aka the most kick-ass show AV Club has sadly chosen to ignore! Hannibal and Banshee shall make for a great blood-soaked double feature, the former disturbingly and nightmarishly blood-soaked, the latter ass-kickingly so.
Ok ok, but what about Jesse Plemons as the hero? Is that going down or was it just a rumor? As a Friday Night Lights junkie, I'm more invested in that.
I don't care too much what people say about DKC1 or DKC3, but I must fight anyone who speaks ill of the greatness that is DKC2.
I wonder how much time the narrative of the film will span. For the appropriately melancholy and bittersweet ending I think it should go through the failure of the Dreamcast. And if they're also focusing on the Nintendo side of things, that would also intersect with the rise of Pokemon. And of course the Playstation…
My SNES is still hooked up right now! Primarily because I'm addicted to trying to improve my Super Metroid time.
If they're really wanting to tell this story right, then substantial stretches of this movie would have Japanese actors and subtitled dialogue. I kinda doubt that will happen, but I'd happily admit my premature pessimism should I be wrong.
You kid, but if they're committed to telling the story comprehensively, that should absolutely be a plot point.
