Hannibal is hands-down the most immediately great new network TV drama since Friday Night Lights in fall of 2006. Which isn't to say there weren't some others that grew to greatness, but nothing else was firing on all cylinders by episode 2 the way Hannibal was since FNL. Hell, even if you drop the "network" qualifier

Yeah, I couldn't wrap my mind around Magic. I really liked Pokemon though. I luckily and randomly bought a pack with a Charizard in it, so I built a whole fire-themed deck around him. I have no idea where any of my Pokemon cards are today though, which sucks because I bet I could probably sell the rare cards online

I like to think of Scandal as basically being The West Wing on crack. Whereas House of Cards is The West Wing on depressants.

I get the impression pretty much everytime I check out "mainstream" American Dad reactions (Facebook, twitter, etc.) that most of them hate it whenever the show goes genuinely off the beaten path. Thankfully, the show's producers don't seem to care too much.

This is hands-down my favorite episode since "Lost in Space." Great concept, backed up by strong character work and some really beautiful animation and just generally sharp, spot-on satire. Because it takes some scenes just seriously enough, such as Snot at the vending machine, "Independent Movie," like really great

Not quite.

While Agents of SHIELD is possibly the most disappointing new show of 2013 and it does desperately need some kind of season arc (beyond Tahiti references, I mean), I don't think the problem inherently lies in having cases of the week. Cases of the week can be great!

Well… in my defense, I posted that before I read those comments. Yikes.

Welp - that was an impressively quick collapse from not liking Law & Order to full-on bug-eyed raving lunacy.

What the fuck, dude? I don't like Law & Order either, but there's a difference between not liking Law & Order and just being an asshole.

I strongly disagree with you on plotting. I think the last few episodes of Arrow season 1 and all of season 2 so far has set an example a lot of other shows, not just Agents of SHIELD, could look to and study in terms of keeping the plot moving at a very brisk clip, throwing out new twists and turns at an exciting

I'm glad you said it, because despite all the critiques of this show online, it seems very few of them point out that the show is brutally ugly on a pure visual level. The scene in the forest last week when they were retrieving the Asgardian rod or whatever from the tree was just hideous to behold.

Criticizing TV Club posters for being too into TV is kinda like criticizing water for being wet. It's pretty much part of the definition.

I wonder if the quick DVD release for Breaking Bad also means the last 8 episodes will be added to Netflix quickly. Because I'd really like to do a big fast binge-rewatch marathon of the entire series before I take a long break from the show, but I'm too lazy/cheap to get the discs to do so, and I certainly don't want

I'm only a few worlds into this game but I've been having a fun time with it. There are definitely a few more generic levels in each world but then there's also inevitably a few in each world with very fresh and creative platforming gimmicks that made me giddy in a "How do they come up with this shit?" way.

"All the sorrier"? This review must have been posted from an alternate universe where Arrow isn't one of the most kick-ass genre shows on TV right now.

Dork thinks he's gonna drown!

It's watchable, but falls far, far short of being must-see television, let's put it that way.

Though its main starring cast is mostly white, CW's Hart of Dixie does seem to put forth the effort to have a fairly diverse supporting cast. There are quite a few black recurring characters, none of whom I would say really adhere to stereotypes. A lot of interracial relationships in the show too.

Mitch Hurwitz appears to have been a fan, since he reassembled most of its Indian cast for when Lindsay goes to India in episode 3 of Arrested season 4.
