@avclub-6955b00909f6ca193225b774b892a906:disqus A 7-season plan? God, I wanna see that come to fruition so freakin' badly. It sounds awesome. Please, gods of television, save Hannibal…

Parenthood loves it some stunt casting, so that damn well might happen at some point. I'd love it.

In a world without Bunheads (Which may be our world? Hello, ABC Family, is Bunheads renewed or not?!), Hart of Dixie would be the closest thing on TV to capturing the feel of Gilmore Girls, so I enjoy it for that if nothing else.

So long as they give her a juicy storyline in season 5. She's by far the best cryer on television, so it would seem a shame to waste that potential.

I was never really concerned about its cancellation with it rising to the top amidst NBC's ratings apocalypse, but still, the renewal of Parenthood (for 22 episodes, no less!) makes me immensely happy. Save Dan Harmon being re-hired on Community or a time traveler from the future telling me that George RR Martin

The Smash don't fly solo!

I dunno, I spent a lot of last season thinking I'd like a little more time to see some of the stories bloom – Victor's integration into the Graham family or Kristina's chemotherapy, for example. Parenthood isn't a fast-paced thriller; it's exactly the kind of show that can get away with a more leisurely pace and time

Game of Thrones is the only current TV show I'm aware of with a larger starring cast.

Barring Dan Harmon being re-hired on Community or a time traveler from the future telling me that George RR Martin finishes the books on schedule to allow Game of Thrones to end properly, Parenthood being renewed for 22 episodes is the single piece of TV news that could possibly make me most happy right now.

I like Awake fine and was all "That sucks" when it got canceled, but I'd be fifty times as upset about Hannibal's cancellation. Awake passed the time, Hannibal is putting together a work of art.

If this show gets canceled it's gonna be the most upsetting one-season-and-done TV show for me since Terriers. (Or maybe Bunheads? When are we gonna know what's happened to Bunheads? Damn you, television!)

I mean, shit, they've hamfistedly tackled every other topic under the sun, why not abortion too?

There's a few in there, but if you watch it hoping for Boobfest '13 you're gonna be super, super disappointed.

Last night Parks quietly made the transition from a rapt-attention show to being one that I watch while simultaneously checking email & websites/playing games on my phone/doing minor household errands. Kind of a bummer for a show I put at #5 on my top ten shows of 2011 list not long ago.

Hey, what the hell happened to  Sugar Motta and Teen Jesus?

A.k.a. the ultimate cowardly writer's way out of any pregnancy story!

I like Silence of the Lambs as much as the next guy, but this show is a couple more solid episodes away from turning into the definitive onscreen Hannibal Lecter story for me. I'm really into it. Easily my favorite new show of 2013 so far.

I didn't even know they were real-life partners until reading your post (and then googling it). Makes me wanna watch all their scenes in this episode again for that extra layer.

@avclub-f8f8c273f326be25421cc62737d24a9e:disqus I liked it too.

S… S minus.
