Apparently in a clip shown at the event Merida says something and the princesses respond with this:
“I can’t understand her.”
“She’s from the other studio.”

Donna Lynne Champlin should've been a shoo-in for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

I'm pretty sure he was confirmed to be returning. Probably just a brief role, though.

Dia de los Muertos is allowed to have more than one animated movie about it.

You joke, but I'm all for a live action Black Cauldron. There's been rumors that Disney has been setting up a live-action adaptation of the series too.

I'll actually come to VeggieTales defense. It had a sly wit about it that still holds up today, or at least in the Jonah movie.

Penny Dreadful's opening was pretty great, I think.

Yeah, that's true. I guess what I should say is repurposed.

I would like to take this moment to champion the stage adaptation of Hunchback. It's just so, so good - and the gargoyles are largely cut out!

It has to come to the Switch too, right? Steven's a Nintendo fan.

That was Ryan Gosling, actually.

Man, I love Danny Trejo. I was lucky enough to interview him about two years ago and he was absolutely one of the nicest people I've ever spoken with in that kind of setting. I even got a fist bump.

I sincerely love the Totinos sketches and that this one topped the X-Files one from last year has me giving a pass to any of the weaker material, accidental fucks be damned.

Just an absolutely stellar finale all around. Acting, writing, directing - all fantastic.

Your lack of Whataburger fries disturbs me.

Zero interest in the film, but I do love that Tituss Burgess is playing Vanity Smurf. At the very least I'll look up a clip of his character.

For some reason the only part I remember is the scene where they press their feet into the ground to find water. That's it.

It's a bit disappointing that they left out 2011's Winnie the Pooh in this. I'd argue that the "Everything is Honey" sequence has some of the most stunning 2D animation Disney's ever done!

Favorite movie I've seen this year. It's just such a joyful, wonderful film and I can't wait to see it again. It's rare for me to love a movie so much as I do with this one.

Someone really needs to make a version of the theme that really is just horrible Rory moments.
