It's been a rough year for Bateman. First he was in that awful movie with Marissa McCarthy, then his character on Arrested Development got turned into a complete jerk, now he's getting bested by a rag-tag crew of gabbas or whatever the hell those things are on children's television.

How has no one mentioned Iron and Wine's "The Trapeze Swinger?" It's the perfect funeral song, as it's long (about 9 minutes) and appropriately melancholy but also uplifting at times. Ends on kind of a downer, so it's probably best played at the funeral of someone with a lot of regrets.

Umm, if Ricky Gervais wanted to donate to charity I'm very confident that he could so without needlessly reviving one of the better television shows ever made 10 years after it already ended.

I think the Christmas specials are well done and they certainly don't detract from the original series. However, I appreciated the way the original ended on a down note in that we've seen the happy ending where the protagonist gets the girl a million times. I thought it was more true to life that Tim didn't end up

I think it's annoying because it could potentially ruin the legacy of the original show.

Is there really any need to bring this show back? The first two seasons are perfect, the Christmas specials I could do without but they're still quality. I really don't have a strong desire to learn what David Brent's up to these days.

I don't like this. Seems like stunt casting. Not that Rogen and Wiig aren't funny, it's just that neither seems to particularly fit the AD style of comedy. I also feel that the previous big name guest stars (Ben Stiller, Charlize Theron) have been pretty weak.

I thoroughly enjoyed this article. Just thought I'd stop by to post that.
