I just listened to it.  It's great.  The way Mel Brooks keeps trying and failing to remember the co-hosts' names is utterly charming.  He was a similarly rambling but hilarious on "Conan" the other night.

Not a fan of Apatow's movies, but he was funny on the podcast, and I was happy to hear that Albert Brooks is gonna be in his new one. That alone might be enough to make me see it.

I think/hope a new one is getting posted over the weekend.

I listed to Owen & TJ.  Can't see it working as a weekly thing, but as a monthly podcast, yeah, I'll keep listening to it.  The character seems very one-note at first, but they did a reasonably good job of pushing it into political/cultural commentary.

I am actively rooting for Dennis to die in the series finale.  He is evil and must be stopped.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why indie rock acts aren't adopting the business/release/promotion model that up and coming hip hop artists have been using for years now. More free mixtapes, more collaborations, more touring, more product in general. Guys like Curren$y and A$AP Rocky have made tons of money

Damon's editorial is written as if the existence of Pandora and Spotify make him unable to still sell vinyl or go on tour. It's also written as if his band did not voluntarily opt in to Pandora and Spotify, even though it's common knowledge among working musicians that these services pay very little. In other words,

If you want hardcore bad movie discussion that's also very funny, listen to We Hate Movies.

I doubt he listened to that record more than once; his argument made no sense and he didn't even bother to engage with the concept/storyline. One of my biggest pop culture pet peeves is when rock critics get selective with their morality policing when it comes to rap music. Jim's assertion that Kendrick promotes
