So, is "largest" based on the number of steps, time to execute, or just overall footprint (or some combination of the three)? I like ones with trickier, more creative connections than this, but I can see where that wouldn't be practical for a live event.

I really enjoy the Marvel movies, but I get frustrated with the lack of creativity in their plotting. It's always either an origin story, good guys fighting each other for no reason, or trying to keep the bad guy away from an infinity stone or some other MacGuffin. The X Men trilogy that kicked off Hugh Jackman's

I haven't seen Kubo yet, but it looks so pretty in the trailers, I was surprised it didn't get a mention.

I was thinking of Zootopia too, although my favorite scene was probably the bit where they zoom through all the districts at the beginning. It's just so pretty, and has a lot of fun world-building details to it.

I loved the whole bit in that episode where they explored how jaywalking came to be a term, and how it was actually a PR effort on the part of the car industry to shift blame for accidents away from motorists.

King of Tokyo is pretty fun, also. And, there were also lots of expansions for other games. The Kingdom Builder & Escape expansions caught my eye, for example.

Maybe there's a bulk rate, then?

Obviously to each his own, but I actually think it's pretty cute, and that they do a good job of balancing out the hard truths with ways that things are getting or could get better, and stuff that the audience can do to influence things for good. The ads are annoying, sure, but tv and movie marketing is misleading

Actually, this show touches on a lot of those sorts of things. This season they talked about the War on Drugs, issues with the Prison System, wage disparities (in their "work" episode), and how movies erased minorities and women from the history of the "wild West".

Yes, but annoying ads aside, this show is actually pretty good. I particularly like that they always show the citations & sources for their material.

Bullshit was ok, but too joyless. Adam Ruins Everything always makes sure to also talk about what people can do to improve the situation.

It's one of those movies that I always end up watching if I'm flipping channels and it's on. I really enjoy the anachronisms, and how much fun everyone seems to be having with it.

Like cow smell in Nebraska! We ate at a Sonic when we were driving cross-country, and the moment we rolled down our windows, we knew we'd made a terrible mistake.

From stories from other comedians it sort of sounds like bluffing about the abilities of your client is standard for agents? Kurt Braunholer has that whole long story about being told that he's got to have a German accent for his audition with Sasha Baron Cohen, for example.

Given how much shit they've gotten for the blinding whiteness of their casting, you'd think they might've made more of an effort, but that photo isn't promising. I did see someone commenting that that might be a previous year, though?

They forgot Party Bitch Kayla! I'm still bummed about Not Safe being cancelled…

There was one computer science professor in college who had bad enough personal hygiene that his secretary would keep Vicks for the students to apply below their noses before meetings with him. That professor was enough of a genius to get away with it, but ugh…

It's not quite the same, because it did get released eventually, but this list reminded me of the Dave Barry/Tim Allen movie Big Trouble - a pretty good comedy that was supposed to get a big theatrical release in September of 2001, but a plotline involving a bomb in an airport caused it to go straight to dvd instead.

The spy tradecraft in the first couple seasons of Burn Notice was surprisingly good - near the beginning, especially, the show had a very small viewership, but every time we talked to someone from a more spooky corner of the government, they'd tell you that everyone back at the office loves that show, and wanted to

I like that the aliens are real, but that doesn't make the group any less crazy. But at the same time, them all being crazy doesn't make their emotional arcs carry less weight. It's an impressive balancing act on the part of the writers.
