I remember those days, too, Lexi. Of course you occasionally ran into some a-hole who just wanted to bust some skulls in there (A woman?? One of The Weaker People? Say it ain't so!) but I found that, for the most part, everybody was just in there doing their own thing, digging the music.

Slam dancing and stage diving
"But slam-dancing and stage-diving, that's 20 years ago now. You'd think that would evolve into something else."

I think SEPMHO would catch right on with these kids.

Dick is his real last name. He was actually adopted by the Dick's.

I don't usually laugh at you, Amelie,
but "Kraft Mackaroni & Dance" actually made me pee my pants a little.

A new level of Hell
is reserved for movies starring both Jessica Simpson and Andy Dick.

Archie McPhee?
Accoutrements.com looks like a poor man's Archie McPhee.
Nobody sells bacon-related products like Archie.

Is The State still funny?
I loved The State when it was on. I'm wondering, however, if all this build-up and anticipation for the DVD release is going to be for naught. Am I still going to think it's funny after all these years? Or is it going to fall into the G-Force school of "I loved it as a kid but watching it

My man still gets down.
He just don't get up again.

I got my eye on YOU, Fourthman.

Nope. I'm thinking of Donnie "That Skinny Guy At the Beginning of Sixth Sense and Oh Yeah He Was In Band of Brothers, Too" Wahlberg.

*sigh*
This would be funny if it weren't absolutely possible.

I…don't understand
Will Donnie Wahlberg be joining them on tour? Doesn't he, like, have a career now?

oh man…
That Gentle Giant album cover is going to haunt my nightmares. It's the little black tadpoles swimming around in the spittle.
I don't know why, but that's upsetting me more than the grossly oversized tongue and the act it's suggesting.

King Crimson
I love that King Crimson cover. That was the first album of theirs I ever bought, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Yeah, but
I'm really enjoying "mock-up of a cockpit."

Rockin' good news
This is, hands down, my absolutel favorite Lynch film. If nothing else, it's the most compulsively quotable…

Is it me, or
does this "Tolerability Index" come with zero tolerance? It doesn't really seem like Amelie's all that crazy about any of this stuff, regardless of where it falls on the index.
Unless her idea of "tolerable" is "stuff I hate with a little less burning passion than that other stuff I hate".

I can't wait.
Wild at Heart is one of the best movies ever made. Thank you — I can't wait until next week.

Sounds like somebody needs a hug.
