With all due respect, as bad and as godawfully long as the Clone Saga was, I think it's wretchedness pales in comparison to Sins Past, where it was revealed that Gwen Stacy gave birth to Norman Osborn's date rape babies, who aged to adulthood super-fast and were then sent to kill Spider-Man.
I seriously doubt that's the case. More likely that this was never intended to be a permanent change, and the intention all along was to go with this new status quo for a year or so before everything gets set back to square one in time for the next movie.
I hated Gosling in the trailer, because every line he delivers is in the same, doesn't-give-a-shit tone and inflection. Each time it sounded like he was reading from a cue card.
Whenever "Wonderful Christmastime" plays, Paul McCartney should lose the writing credit on one of his Beatles songs.

Same for me, although in some ways I actually feel like I loved House of Leaves in spite of it unusual formatting more than because of it. I ultimately thought it was effective enough as a genuinely unnerving horror story that I was willing to push through all the spinning the book around to read the weird formatting.

That makes it sound like somewhere Rainn Wilson and the rest of the cast will still be performing the screenplays, to an audience of none. Which is probably the best outcome anyone involved could expect.

Nail on the head. There's an image in the first volume (someone opens a container to find their friend, stretched into a spiral and stuffed inside) that caused me to actually throw the book to the floor in horror.

It…did. Wow. Such low expectations, but this was actually a hell of a lot of fun, and looked great to boot. I don't know if it would have ultimately found an audience, and I imagine budget concerns probably didn't help, but I'm actually bummed that this will almost certainly not get a series pickup, and I wasn't…

And somewhere, a single tear rolls down Kumail Nanjiani's dusky cheek.
