Danzig, Motherfucker
Danzig sounds exactly like Henry Rollins depicts him, which is to say like nothing at all what you'd expect. "Hello Henry. I'm going to be writing a song for Roy Orbison. Very excited."

Curious where the live adaptation stands at this point
That a feature-length anime was successfully made from the sprawling, epic manga was impressive. I seriously doubt a live adaptation could do either justice. Then again, I live for such surprises. And pie. I like pie.

Well this is just sad.

I regretted that one as soon as I posted. They don't do it for me but yeah, they don't belong on that list.

It's true, nothing suggests sensuality and a sexually satisfied audience than Blink 182.

I'll break that down, if Mr. mad does not mind.

Going to have to agree to disagree on that one, Lovecraft. It's true to an extent - that Blink 182 song certainly doesn't pain me like some of the others do - but if we're including bands like New Found Glory or Bowling For Soup or even Guttermouth under the pop-punk umbrella then oh yeah, bad pop-punk can be very,

I don't think it's laziness that makes Nathan write an entertaining review of these compilations that somehow never asks listeners to pay close attention to the painfully awful rock songs. I think it's common sense and taste.

"I'm going to take Nabin's straightforward dealing with "Feeling This" as the closest thing to a ringing endorsement of anything on this compilation."

Yeah, thanks to all the commenters wondering why Nathan kept skipping over the shitty rock acts. Now we all know and we are all the poorer for it.

Who knew John Constantine fans made for such a divided camp?

It's been a while since I've read Spider-Woman. I vaguely recall a wheelchair-bound amateur dispatcher sort of supporting character thing. Was he responsible for that? Well……yeah, that sucked.

I really don't find the rigidness of those Spectre plots a drawback, so long as they served their purpose as a conveyance towards the inventive payoff. If the series had run any longer then yes, he would have needed to switch up his pitches. As it was, though, I'd say his fastball did the trick. To each his own.

Question for Hellblazer fans
I've been meaning to get into Hellblazer and I'm wondering just how worthwhile is Jamie Delano's run. See, I'm one of those jerks who prefers to start from the top but I wasn't much impressed with Delano's work on Captain Britain. Garth Ennis, on the other hand, is one of my all-time

Compare and Contrast
8/27/10:"Illustrated with smooth, stylish, kinetic draftsmanship by the underappreciated Bruno Premiani"

Heave Ho

I second that motion.

You're proud of a lot of patches of ignorance, I've noticed.

This ain't no TV Tropes, hombre.

Serious question, if I may. Do you get paid per post? Like, could you reach your quota just by re-posting the same link over and over again in one thread? Because I don't really see the point, otherwise. Seems rather inefficient.
